Chapter 1: The Girl Who Watched the Sky
In a small quiet village surrounded by tall green hills lived a young girl named Amara. She was known in the village as the girl who loved the stars more than anything else in the world. Every night, while the other villagers slept peacefully in their homes, Amara would sit outside on a large flat rock near her house and watch the sky.
The sky was her favorite place.
Thousands of stars filled the darkness, shining like tiny lanterns. Amara often wondered if those stars were trying to tell a story.
Her grandmother used to tell her a strange legend when she was younger.
“The stars are not just lights in the sky,” her grandmother once said in a soft voice. “Long ago, there was a magical kingdom hidden beyond them. It is called The Kingdom of the Hidden Stars.”
Amara never forgot those words.
Most people in the village thought the story was just an old myth meant to entertain children. But Amara believed there was truth hidden inside it.
One cool evening, Amara sat on her usual rock, staring up at the bright sky. The wind moved gently through the trees, making the leaves whisper softly.
Suddenly, something unusual happened.
One star began to shine brighter than the others.
Amara narrowed her eyes and leaned forward. The light grew stronger and stronger until it looked like the star was falling from the sky.
Her heart began to race.
“That can’t be a shooting star…” she whispered.
The glowing light rushed downward, cutting through the darkness like a streak of silver fire. It disappeared somewhere deep inside the forest just outside the village.
Amara jumped to her feet.
Her mind was filled with curiosity. Something inside her told her that this was not an ordinary event.
“I have to see what it was,” she said to herself.
Without thinking twice, Amara grabbed her lantern and quietly slipped out of her house. The village was silent as she walked toward the edge of the forest.
The tall trees looked darker than usual, their branches stretching like shadows in the night.
Many villagers believed the forest was dangerous after sunset, but Amara was not afraid.
She stepped carefully along the narrow path, holding her lantern high. The deeper she walked into the forest, the quieter everything became.
Then she saw it.
In a small clearing between the trees, a bright glowing object lay on the ground.
But it was not a star.
It was a boy.
He looked about the same age as Amara, maybe a little older. His dark hair was messy, and strange silver markings glowed faintly on his jacket.
Amara gasped.
The boy slowly opened his eyes.
They were bright… almost like they held tiny stars inside them.
For a moment, neither of them spoke.
Finally, the boy sat up slowly and looked around the forest in confusion.
“Where… am I?” he asked weakly.
Amara stepped closer, still holding her lantern.
“You’re in Lunara Village,” she said carefully. “You fell from the sky.”
The boy looked shocked.
“That’s impossible,” he murmured.
Amara studied him closely.
“Who are you?” she asked.
The boy hesitated for a moment before answering.
“My name is Kael,” he said quietly. “And I come from a place that no one here should know about.”
Amara’s heart skipped.
“What place?”
Kael looked up at the sky.
Then he said the words that would change Amara’s life forever.
“I come from The Kingdom of the Hidden Stars.”
The forest fell silent.
Amara could hardly breathe.
The story her grandmother once told her… was real.
And this was only the beginning of an adventure that would take them far beyond the world they knew.
