As a form of punishment, Katherine, a fiery nineteen-year-old, is sent to England by her father. She had no idea that the campus of her new institution is populated with supernatural beings right out of her favorite comic books and novels.

Katherine discovers a startling truth as she gets used to her new environment: she is not simply a regular human girl. Due to an oath he had taken to a friend, her father had kept her concealed all these years. The truth is beginning to come to light: Katherine is the reincarnation of a queen who was meant to mate with an Alpha wolf.

Introduction
It could have been perfectly described as an entanglement in a web of a terrible long-lasting nightmare but it was not effervescent. Complete darkness camouflaged me as I probably stood in the middle of some thick deserted evil forest like I mostly read in my books. My eyes wide opened to their fullest limit but it wasn't some sort of touch light so I still couldn't succeed in seeing if some creepy animal was crawling inside my jeans trouser. The loud pounding of my chest was the only beat that backed the rhythm of the song the leaves accompanied by the wind made as they touched each other. I thought of sinking to the ground but was going to be the most dopey decision anyone would take in my situation. A sudden chilled breeze blew, causing the leaves to scream louder, proclaiming how majestic it felt in its comfortable abode. Meanwhile, I felt goosebumps rush to cover the surface of my skin. I wrapped my arms around me for refuge. Though still, the cold air penetrated through the openings of my life blouse to weaken every single bone that supported the movement in my body. Fear dispersed in my systems as I heard snarls of some family of animals—precisely wolves if I wasn't wrong. I heard it for the second time and the fear started to germinate, soon enough, it sprouted out. It began to choke me, I held my breath as I couldn't dare to do otherwise. The sound grew louder, they were nearby but I couldn't afford to take a step. I mean, where was I going and how was I going to start the journey when I could barely see a thing? But I didn't want to die like this, there was a lot to experience in the world. And I wanted to love and feel loved, that's everyone's great wish, right? There was one thing I didn't understand though. In most of the books I read, there was always a guardian angel who appeared at the scene to get them out. But why was I stuck in this abyss of darkness without being noticed by any guardian angel? Otherwise, someone has got to tell me if I was being cursed by a guardian devil who pushed me here in the first place. Being motivated by a sense of internal inspiration. My fears diminished, replacing them with a new fantasy of being alive and achieving my aims. I took my first step, too careful not to be prey to any venomous reptile. I managed about three successful steps, my hammering heart drowning out the sound of my quick steps. The snarls of the unrelenting wolf resonated through the eerie calm forest behind me, getting closer with each passing second. With each step I made, the dried leaves carpeting the ground kept producing strange crunchy sounds. I just went disregarding the thought of not knowing where I was heading to. The full moon created spooky shadows along my walk, illuminating the forest with an unearthly glow. My breath hitched in her throat as she tripped over gnarled roots of thousands of years and sharp pointed rocks. "Huh." I laid on my belly, having no little energy left to keep me going. Meanwhile, I heard the family of blood-thirsty animals running after me. Or wait, what if they were not after me? I felt some liquid dripping from my knee while I winced in pain. I might have had a bad cut there. I veered around, and even though I couldn't see, I was probably more terribly hurt than I had imagined. It was sickening to know my desperate battle to outrun the gigantic animals turned me instead into a race against my terror. Their snarling grew louder with each that passed and I hated how much it was deafening me. For a fact, I was not going to be their biggest meat to feast on. I was going to get out of here the same way just as I came. Tears brimmed my eyes, I couldn't stop it so I let it flow. I swallowed hard and shook my head slowly as I tried to stand up. I won't let you catch me!" I yelled into the darkness, my voice terrified and defiant as it hit every tree. I didn't know who in particular that went to but I knew for a fact someone heard it. I strained my aching muscles to their limits, my wide eyes darting everywhere, looking for some glimpse of light in the encompassing blackness. The forest seemed to close in on me, its towering trees whispering malicious secrets to me, while the moon mocked me with its mocking light. All I kept hearing in little whispers was that you are not going to return. You are going to be torn into pieces and your bones would be ground into the finest powder. I shook my head violently, that wasn't me. That was not going to be how I will end up. The forest fell silent as a graveyard, my heartbeat was the only sound that could be heard. Even the animals didn't snarl. Suddenly, I felt my pulse stopping, and my weight dropping, what could be happening? Shivers ran down my spine like how showers run on the stem of a rose flower. Something caught my attention, I noticed a small glow ahead of me, a glimmer of hope amid the darkness. My breath stopped in my throat as I summoned the last of my strength, sprinting with desperate zeal toward the beckoning light. My breathless breaths rang across the silence as I burst into the clearing, and I anxiously surveyed my surroundings. My brief respite was disrupted as I suddenly discovered myself encircled by a group of wolves. Their terrifying eyes gleamed with unfathomable ferocity, and their fangs glistened with a malicious desire. They glided with predatory ease, enveloping me in a noose of fur and sinew that tightened. I was gripped by fear, however, I refused to succumb to despair. I wasn't going to give them the satisfaction of seeing me bathed in fear and vulnerability. My eyes pierced into the one that looked bulky among them, he looked dangerous and his mouth hung in a ready-to-feast manner. I threw my hands in the air, my eyes never tearing from his as he made a step. Could I fight it? Probably not, but I could make him run away with my confidence and my little voice. "Stay back!" I said, my voice shaking with fear and defiance. "I won't become your prey!" I had no hope but I just felt my story was going to be far different from this day. My guardian angel was coming out of nowhere to get me out and chase all of them away to where they came from.
