Rushing into the open, Amy fell to her knees on the steps of the barracks. Her lance slipped from her grip. “Your Grace!” shouted the Knight as he rushed to his Queen’s side. He knelt down and lifted her to her feet. “Are you hurt, Your Grace?” Amy groaned. A dull throbbing pain flared across her leg. With a grunt, she took Gideon’s offered hand and lifted herself upright. “I’m alright, Ser Gideon,” she replied. “W-we should get going!” Gideon nodded. He picked the lance up from the ground and handed it to Amy. “Let’s go, Your Grace! We need to get out into the courtyard.
