As we arrive to the clearing in the woods, I think I smell something that isn't familiar. Jax is on high alert, but we scan the area and see nothing and the smell quickly dissipates. We have gotten out here just in time with just about 10 minutes to spare. Those that want to shift (or can shift) do and Simon and I stand on either side of Scarlet as she prepares to shift. I notice that before she shifts, she gives full control to Diamond. She begins to shift and while we can read the pain on her face, she doesn't make any sounds, which is impressive for a first shift.
