We are in the center of a large clearing and I can hear running water near us, it must be behind the tree line. Lena, Doug, and Julie are all in their wolf form as Marie and Tom have found a rock to sit on by the tree line a good distance from us. It's not really dangerous for them, but midshift, according to Julie, is a point where neither the wolf or the human really have control, so as that final bone breaks, you land kind of wherever. We didn't want to risk it at all, so I asked them to stand just a bit back. I have Simon on one side and Mark on the other and I stand here kind of looking dumb if you ask me waiting for the moment that I will "feel it".
