(Sophia's POV)
As evening approached, the boat finally docked. I stood at the bow, watching the shoreline grow closer with each passing moment. The irony wasn't lost on me—here I was, stepping onto this country's soil yet again. Third time now. This land and I seemed to have some kind of... strange connection.
The sunset painted the sky in hues of orange and purple as my feet touched solid ground. I felt a strange mix of dread and determination wash over me.
