Cameron’s POV
My heart was racing. I don’t know what came over me at the lake, but for once, Lexi didn’t feel like the enemy. I had intended to ask her on a date to get to know her. I thought going for a run and talking would be a good way to bridge the tension between us. I didn’t anticipate falling in the lake with all of our clothes. Nor did I expect the look I saw on Lexi’s face when she saw me standing naked right in front of her.
Her expression triggered something in me and from there, it all happened so quickly.
