Chapter 4

The announcement came to the school through the speakers; which were used as information minimum sets to pass messages to the school student. The announcement from the principal was reported accordingly; 'Attention students this message is to tell you about the school summer camping trip we are about to go for after the school break. So I wanted you all to go home and prepare for the departure next week. Thanks for your time, now you all will get back to your classes.

The message was passed to the school but Cayden happened to not be in the institute just yet, but conceivably got the message from his pals.

He was very much satisfied with himself, that he was in love with Stephanie but wasn't sure how he was going to do it.

He had all those inward thoughts the night before going to bed.

The morning came when Cayden was steering toward the school with a friendly smile on his face— because he agreed to tell Stephanie about his feelings for her.

Lacking no doubt in his mind, he picked up the phone and made a ring across to Emily—Stephanie's best friend.

The ring went across, and Emily picked up the phone call arriving from Cayden.

“Hey, Cayden!”

Emily quickly replied to Cayden's ring.

“Emily, I think I need to get your help on something”

“And what could that be Cayden?”

“I wanted to plan an excellent surprise party for Stephanie next week, and I decided to get your help to make it happen. Would you like to assist me out with the party?” He asked Emily curiously, waiting for her response.

“Ok, I'm constantly ready whenever you need me. For now, I have to get to the lesson if that's okay, with you?”

“Of course it's, I'm on my way to school similarly, and also to say, can you and I maybe make something out of the box!”

“Yeah, it's okay, I have to leave but I'll talk to you later?”

“Yes, later!” The call was ended

But it was quite unfortunate for Cayden, he had no idea about the school camping trip nor did Emily.

Subsequently, Cayden eventually got to the school and then took off to his lesson. But shortly after the lesson was through, he made his way to the school library to drop off some of the books he had taken him earlier for study. Immediately as he walked through the bookshelf he saw a lot of stories on a similar subject, wolves.

In front of the books he stood captivated by the creative novels around wolves and then shortly, he brought out a book from the shelf which was about the imaginative stories on wolverines but he returned it just instantly.

He felt confused about what to read or an expert on the different books the school just added to the shelf. Soon after his considerable silence, the courage in him, made Cayden pull out a book from the bookshelf, but as he was about to pull out a book from the edge he saw Stephanie standing directly in front of him as she was moreover attempting to obtain a book too. Instantly their eyes meant that his attention was attracted to her, she chuckled at him and then left the bookshelf with a book in her hand. Later, after a few minutes of him getting his eyes on Stephanie, he sat in front of his impressions and enlightened himself to go forward with the conversation.

He said to himself inwardly, 'the decision was mine to put together, by the way, it was only a matter of a moment and she would be mine. I can accomplish this.' As he walked close to Stephanie.

“Wait! Wait!”

He screamed in his inward thoughts but this time, it was louder and millions of topics scrambled through his head.

“what if she doesn't put up with it, then what?” began again to whimper to himself as he went closer to Stephanie.

He said inwardly; 'But Stephanie wasn't the first girl I had ever dated— being rich I got all the girls he had ever wanted to be with but Stephanie in this case, was someone different from others, she was both beautiful, and smart. She was perpetually my and every other guy's dreams come true.'

“Hi, Cayden, what are you doing over there? come on here!”, she said, glancing at him as gently he stepped towards her.

Cayden sat down on a chair while Stephanie was settled on the right side of the table, and then he was the first to begin a conversation about an anonymous party he had in mind but Stephanie was lost in her reading and wasn't giving her attention to Cayden.

Nevertheless, her awareness was drawn around immediately as Cayden stood up and was about to leave.

“Cayden wait!, I'm sorry for occurring lost in my reading. I hope you can forgive me?” Instantly an apology arrived from Stephanie.

“Yes, I can”,

Quick came the reply, from Cayden.

He went on to have a site with Stephanie, and she told him about the school camping trip.

Cayden was very much surprised to get the news about the trip, he felt bad because it wasn't the way he expected it to prevail. However, he felt mad at the announcement she just told him. He left the library furiously without talking to Stephanie.

Soon after, the night appeared in the sky and Stephanie was on her bed feeling bored of sleeping. However, she was down from her bed and went to her school backpack, and she brought out her diary.

She sat on a chair and then opened the diary. She wrote; today, it happened to be an amazing experience in my life. I'm excited I got my recent grade level up for the most important and the hardest subject in every high school 'robotics' as the name implies. I also noticed that Cayden has feelings for me but he just does not express it. I don't know if he still has the feelings in him, maybe he does just maybe. By the way, tomorrow appeared to be my school's annual camping trip and I was frightened by the woods at first. Who wouldn't be, after all, it's my first time since childhood but I've got a best friend like Emily Dickinson and I could do anything when she is by my side. Oh!, hence it's late and I have to prepare for the camping trip tomorrow. I promise to write about my experience when I get back.

She got up from the chair and made her way to sit down on her bed, shortly she got a buzzer message on her cell phone and it shows that Cayden sent the message to her.
