( STILL HANSEL POV)

Walking down to the stairs, I reach their table. I gave Jacobi a nod and stood behind her friend. He mind linked me. No disrespect, alpha, but what are you doing here? I came here to say hello, of course. He left out a snort but covered it with a cough. She already left, and this one is mad as a hornet. So good luck. Wipeing my sweaty palms on my sweats, I cleared my throat. Mind if I sit here? The way she wipped around may have been comical in another time, but I gotta be straight faced. Once she stood up red-faced, I knew my ass was gonna be handed to me.

Who the hell do you think you are?! You wait till after my friend leaves to come down and say hi, better yet, yes, please sit down so I'm not yelling at your stomach. Doing as she said, I sat down. Even sitting down, she is eye level with me. She tried to talk to you and invited you to hang out with us. You had to be a condescending, egotistical asshole! I'm glad she left. Taking a deep breath, she switches personalities immediately. Thank you so much, Jacobi, for a lovely end of the night. You can text me at any time. Also, thank you for the ride offer, but my Uber is out there. With a kiss on his cheek a glare my way, the woman I come to know as Jessie left .

Come on, Jacobi, say it. I look at my beta. That's the first tonight, You got wrung out, and not once did you lose your temper. No alpha wolf, especially one of your nature, will tolerate that. If it was anyone else. you would have choked them with their own vocal cords. Sighing, I rub my hands down my face. That's the thing. They aren't just someone. We have a date tomorrow since her friend is seeing her folks tomorrow. What's her name? My mates? Jacob asked.I corrected him and asked for mines name. The ride home was tense and quiet for once. The only sound that could be heard was the tires humming on the black top. The town starting fading and we started entering the darker dense part of the forest . Jacobi was staring at the window with a small smile on his face. His reflection was shown the the moonlight outside. After twenty minutes I pulled up to the iron gate to the pack house. The guard immediately opened it. The gates creaking as the opened widely. With a nod to them I pulled up the long gravel drive way. Rocks crunching underneath my tires. Jacobi looks at me and sighs. I'll meet you at the spot in ten minute's shuts the door and runs inside.

I get out grab the pair of spare short for my trunk. slipping off the bar clothes I leave the human scents behind. I slip on my gym shorts and head to the oak tree. I pulled Kaos forward, then sat in the recess of my mind and gave Kaos full control. The change was quick and swift. Kaos stand to is full height and stretches out. His ears shift forward and backwards listening max Jacobi wolf bound through the forest. His white fur looking silver under the full moon. He runs full tilt to me with the white of he teeth glistening while his tongue hangs out sideways. His paws pounding on the ground making the small pebble shake in his wake.

Max comes to a kidding stop and puffs out air through his nose. He bends his front down with his tail up and ass wagging. Kaos sits on his haunches looking bored. "Are you done pup?" Max straightens out and let's out a wimper. You need to loosen up Kaos. I'm just really happy that I found my- his words die out in the wind. He stands out and looks up at me. If you weren't such a douche you'll be happy and exited too. Kaos let's out a warning growl. Listen pup, I didn't do anything the numb nuts sitting back seat princess did. He gets up from his haunches and stands at his full 7 foot height. His paws flex into the dirt digging his sharp blade like talons into the dirt. Max even seeing his form for years still can't look at him in the eyes.

Kaos looks at max and knows he's still fearful, but knows if his best friend can't feel comfortable enough to look him in the eyes, then everyone else will surely run in terror hense the secertcy. He rather people respect and not fear. He wants it natural not because what he is. Shaking out his fur one last time he takes off. Max follows suit the run for hours taking in the fresh air letting the wind pass by like a gentel caress through their fur. After they caught a nice buck snack on some berries they ended up on the rock. Kaos let max go first. They both laid on it stretched out. Kaos left his head his eyes looking straight at maxes light blew almost white eyes. I'm sorrya bout earlier. Congrats on finding your mate max. I am just mad at Hansel for rejecting ours. I know he's jumping the gun. For someone to be our mate hafts to be extraordinary. Mean look at me. Max takes in his features and presence.

The alpha wolf before him with his human weak minded counter part. He chuffed at that. Kaos tilted his large head and asked "what?" Max told him his thought and Kaos grumbled. He walked behind him, grabbing the thorn bush with his teeth. Once he walked past he let it go, and smacked him right in the ass. Max jumped and yelped. He gave a playful growl then they both jumped off the rock and headed back to the pack house. Hansel shifted as soon as he got close to the oak tree. Jacobi shifted by the door. Hansel put a hand on his shoulder and said." Thanks for the night run, it helped clear a lot of the fog up here. He pointed to his head. Jacobi gave him one of his easy smiles. With a yawn he said "of course" I'm headed to bed. Hansel agreed with that. He went up to his room, grabbed and shower and passed out.

STARLET POV

Waking up, i grab my phone to see that it's only 8 o'clock am. Groaning, I turn back over and try to go back to sleep. Instead, my bladder was screaming for me to move. Throwing both my arms out sideways and a little kick with my feet. I reluctantly got outta bed.
