As we continued on from where we left of, we just kept talking to her. The more I heard her voice everytime she spoke got me more and more lost in somewhat of a trance that I can't take my mind off her. My thoughts just kept revolving around her that I was losing focus like being miles away from the real world and our conversation. As soon as I noticed that I was zoning out way too much, I tried focusing back to what the topic is because I really didn't want her to think badly of me like I don't pay attention enough thinking I don't care about this which I do and I don't want her to think of me like I'm that type of person because I really do care and I wanna look good to her and make a good first impression, Like leaving a mark on her but a good one of course.

I realized they were talking about something else which I didn't have any clue of because of being too distracted by my own thoughts which was just her.

So the whole time, I tried listening to what they were talking about now and finally figured out what it was about. Nothing too difficult to answer because she was just asking both of us of our complete names.

Pretty simple enough but didn't she ask as last time or was I just zoning out too much again?

Oh wait-

Where was I? Ooh right! I was supposed to answer.

“and I'm Trevor Jay Carter” I answered.

That's where it led to her asking us what she could call us like a nickname. She said she noticed we can't all have the same nicknames by initials because they'd all be the same if our nicknames were just based on our initials which was a good point really because that would honestly be confusing as if having the same looks aren't confusing enough already, try giving all three of us the same nicknames to call us.

Well it at least won't be confusing to the one who calls us because they know who they were calling, it would just be more confusing for us three to figure out who's being called.

Yeah, that really would be confusing but pretty funny to me thinking about it if it were to happen.

I analyzed that way too far that I got distracted again, almost got lost into my own world once again.

Luckily it was just a few seconds that I was distracted from when she mentions the confusing thing so I decided to act natural and be like part of the convo and talk. I don't want to feel like some sort of side character anymore so now's the time to talk specially now that I'm used to having her around.

I just started out simple agreeing how'd it be confusing to others and to us if our nicknames were like that.

“Yeah, it's confusing as a nickname for all three of us since we're all the same on that part too.” I ended and giggled a little thinking of that thought I had earlier.

She noticed too and nodded and giggled a little too but she rights away thought of another thing to ask us.

“Ohh. Well, on to my next question.

Speaking of nicknames, since you can't all have the nickname “TJC”, What are your nicknames? Or what do you prefer to be called?” She asked.

Well, she could call me whatever she wants to, I don't really mind so I just tell her the two nicknames people usually call me with.

“Well, for people who I'm not close to or only know my first name, I let them call me Trevor but for people I'm close to, they call me Jay....

Then Travis tells her about his.

“In my case, there's a lot of people named John so I prefer to be called Travis but you can call me with whatever you want”

and finished off with a smirk, weird way to end that I mean he could've just ended off with a smile or something but knowing how Travis is and his personality, I just brushed it off and thought something like it was just a “Travis thing” to do.

But still pretty suspicious to me if I'm being honest, rubbed me off the wrong way. I mean he likes to tease people no matter who they are. It really may just be nothing and I may just be thinking way too much into this again when in reality, there's really nothing like that going on.

Realized I was putting to much time on analyzing something so simple that it distracted me again.

“C'mon Trevor! Focus!” I reminded myself.

Tried seeing what was going on this time until I noticed nothing really happened yet since everyone's still quiet. Looked like no one was planning to talk or something so I looked at Travis, he didn't have that awkward look on his face but still had that smirk still plastered on there while staring at Maya.

Seems like he's alright and not uncomfortable at all so I shift my attention onto Maya then since Travis handles these things easily with teasing someone but as for Maya with what I noticed, specially with Travis trying our old little inside joke on her, she didn't really take it so well that's why I'm a bit more concerned with her this time so I try taking a close look at her reaction to all this teasing.

If I'm being honest, I don't think that was teasing but more of Travis being flirty?

Nah, maybe it was just nothing for Travis but it could be the opposite with Maya.

Oh wait- I almost forgot again, speaking of Maya, I took a quick look at her and it looks like she's flustered like shy, nervous, surprised, and confused at the same time.

It didn't last long though and just shrugged it off. Like all that 'cause of a smirk?

Anyways, she just shrugged it off quickly and started talking because I know she could feel the awkward tension growing again and I know she didn't want that obviously so she took action immediately!

“Hmmm, is it ok if in the future I might probably give you two nicknames? just wondering” she asked.

I got excited for some reason, it felt strangely enchanting getting lost in her eyes and words again just because of the thought that she was gonna call me something special she thought of specially for me! I mean sure, me and Travis but still!

I felt overjoyed for some reason hearing her say that that I immediately answered.

“Sure!”
