The Children Wings

Once on a sunny day, the eggs of turtledove hatched. The Turtledove mother delightedly pinched each shell carefully from her kids. Three of them.   Right after they knew how to fly, the kids moving from one tree to tree. They chase after other birds and playing from the dawn until the sunset.   One day, the turtledove mother conscious of her loneliness. That no one of her kids kept her company. They were spending their time with doves, bulbuls, and swallows.   “Mom,” called the kid, as managed to land to their tree. “Mom for you. What is it, darling?” the turtledove mother answered, was dazzling with her kids came home early. “May my brothers and I fly away with swallows, Mom? It is an adventure!”  “And where is the destination, My son?”    “By his story flying cross over the oceans, Mom!!” shout the kid fired up.  “Oh, Mom. We bored to death chained to this trunk. I kindly want to see the wide world!” added the other kid.  How sad the mother turtledove hearing that. Without answer, she quietly watched them. Night then came. The turtledove mother awoke and shrugged while watching her kids were sleeping in sound. Their conversation before passed by in her mind. Before they get up, the turtledove mother approached them to break their wings. The next day, for a while a swallow visited their trunk. He asked the turtledove mother for permission bringing the kids on his journey. Whereas he found the turtledove kids crying behind her mother back.    “They cannot afford to fly away with you, Mr. Swallow. This trunk is their home. Here, forever and ever under my wings.”  || Sion ||
