I could have sworn I saw her eye color change i cant be mistaken Ann said in her mind the image replaying in her mind..
"is everything ready ,I can hear mum "we rushed to tidy up the kitchen and set the table she quickly sat on her chair and started eating. Mum came down inspecting every single corner of the kitchen
" is the food ready" she asked
" yes" I said opening the bowl to serve her
"I hope it's sweet ,cous I wouldn't want to use my ingredients as a practical tool
I served her poured to water in her glass and sat to eat mine.
"hmmm,it's too salty you want to kill me you plan to poison me right" she said still chewing
"mum if it's that bad you have thrown it at micha already,plus you seem unwilling to part with the plate" Ann said
"you little brat , has she bewitched you too,"
I looked at Ann trying to keep my laughter contained by the way this would only make things bad for me not her..
"i see you have enough time in your hands to bewitch my daughter" mum said
" you'll clean the basement and the attic today i got some stuff I want to check out later i can't handle that much dust"
"mum why not tell me what you need so I can bring out for you"
“ are you trying to oppose me , you've grown so big you now talk back at me" I felt something hit me then some hot liquid started streaming down my face,I touched my face it was blood
" mum" Ann rushed to my side immediately
"what's the meaning of this mum"she asked
" and as for you young lady you'll go with me to the spa,get your hair and nails done some massage for this your petite body spending time with her will only corrupt you come here now" she said
I held the dish cloth at mocha's face unwilling to move she was bleeding and her cut needed to be tended to . She took the cloth from me giving the reassuring look that she will be fine .
Mum dragged her my hands
" go get you bag and the car key"
" but i haven't finished my food"
" you still care about food at this rate breakfast has been ruined and you still want to eat"
"who ruined it" I muttered under my breath
" meet me outside in 5 seconds "
I rushed to get my stuff and the keys
" and you tend to the garden too its rough" i heard her tell micha , does she want to make her collapse of exhaustion I would have called dad but he'd be very busy now the last time he was very pissed at what he saw though mum had lied but he wasn't happy at the punishment she got.. He never hit us any time
I whispered to her from the sitting room" I'll come help you do some later ok just do what you can"
She smiled at me " ok"
" Annabelle " my. screaming at the top of her lungs
"I gotta go love you"I said blowing her kisses
"I love you too " bluish gray did her pupils just change color again or do I need to get my eyes checked I think I do I thought as I entered the car
I heard the car zoom off with mum and Ann gone the house became quiet..she had hidden the first aid kit so I got to tend to my wound my own way so It doesn't get infected I poured some hot water in the bowl wiped my face clean I looked at the cut in my face it was at my forehead but hidden at the corner not too exposed. I was prepared for it all anyways. I rubbed ointment it stings I ignored the pain and placed plaster sticker on it . i had a lot to do so I had to be fast.i wore my nose mask and went down stairs
I started with the attic this is the second time I would be going in there the first time wasn't willingly and wasn't s it sure pleasant experience either it was a punishment from mum if dad had not come home that evening I would have passed out. Searching the bunch of keys i couldn't figure out the right key I decided to try them all. Finally the key made a click sound
I removed the lock and chains dragging the big door wide open it was dark as I climbed down the ladder each steps brought back memories of that day i was locked in I cried soo hard I became weak.
I put on the lights it sure was very dusty , I looked at everything all clustered together where do I start from. I started moved the white sheets from everything the dust was so much I almost choked ooo right my mask I had kept in outside while trying to figure out the key to the locks. Rushed out to get out , just when I got to the top of the stairs it suddenly became windy outside why was it windy at summer it became stronger I couldn't see a thing , something hit me so hard passing through the door it was so fast I lost my stability falling back into the attic I hit the ground hard a burning sensation spread through my arm looking at my elbow it was bruised still trying to figure out what had happened i walked slowly to the door climbing up again the wind had gone down like it never happened.
Was it a tornado or a whirlwind that just passed i thought to myself. bang the last thing I saw was the light in the attic.
