Ezra and I walk for a short while, a comfortable silence sitting between us as we dodge the trees of the forest. Ash seems upon high alert which I find odd, even more so the slight snarl she releases as Ezra gently reaches for my hand. My wolf had been keen on this man not too long ago... What has suddenly changed? Though my mind suddenly filters to the warmth of his touch as his fingers tighten around my hand. My eyes moving up to look at him, yet he is looking forward. Those beautiful gray eyes of his focused upon where we are going. His strong jaw, defined in the light of the evening sunshine... he looks handsome tonight, I find myself thinking.
Ezra must feel my eyes upon him, as his eyes move to meet mine. "Seeing something you like there, beautiful?" He asks, with almost a twinkle
