Our arrival at the party was all but unnoticed, even by my husband. A party laid out across the large training field, all decked out in the prettiest of decorations, and filled with the scents of cooking meat as the grills were going. Someone had gone to a lot of effort to make the party as grand as it was. Every available space was being used. Chairs set up. Tables too, filled with drinks, and so much food... nobody would be going hungry, that was for sure. My eyes dart around, taking it all in.
I always loved our pack barbeques, and this looked much like one of those, but on a grander scale. The pack members we had already passed look to be having a good time, and that was always a good thing.
