The meetings had thankfully been drawn to an early conclusion due to an issue with my brother which both my father and the pack elders had been called to attend to, so I evidently owed him one. Or perhaps, in hindsight, I didn’t since the irritating little fucker had chosen not to apper for the meetings at all, putting all the pressure upon me, and forcing me to endure the attention of these sickly, desperate and over the top she-wolves and their families. I did not want to be there, and my father and his cronies knew that, yet they forced me to tolerate conversation after conversation with people trying too hard to please me. People putting on nothing but a flase and fake persona, which only further added to my irritation. Hearing the meetings were being paused, was a sense of relief. A
