I found myself sitting on a garden swing upon the sweeping porch looking out on the gardens of a beautiful house set up near the edges of the treelines. Ezra’s home, and oddly, away from the chaos of the main pack. I had declined a tour, in need of a moment to collect my thoughts, so Ezra had led me to the garden, and there I had sat since. Staring off into the forest ahead... Now, I nursed the coffee within my hand that Ezra had since brought me, while looking out across the garden in front of me. Peace. Tranquility. There was plenty of that to be found here. Something I needed right now as I faced the reality of what I had just done. I had found some inner strenght, that was for certain.
