I snapped out of sleep just before the c***k of dawn, my eyes a bit gritty from sleep. I was happy that I had woken up early enough. Maybe if I was done with all my work, I could get a bit of information about the whereabouts of my father. Or get a plan. As much as I wanted to regain Lucien's trust, I didn't want to go on living like this. I took a quick shower and threw on some clothes at random. I could hear the sound of a howl, calling the warriors to training. I stopped myself from looking out the window at them and walked out of my bedchamber. I knew I had some duties but I wanted to start at the library where I could get some space and privacy. Was it awkward that I wanted solace in a place where my life has been turned upside down in a matter of minutes? I know the route so well,
