CORRIGAN
“Excuse me?”
I felt so dumb at that moment and wanted to say something but I couldn't even come up with a single sentence. I was just so filled with so much embarrassment especially after I reacted.
“What happened? I hope you're not disturbing my guest Corrigan?” Lucien said walking over to our direction, startling and adding to my anxiety.
Guest?
I didn't know that he would accommodate him because yesterday they were acting more like mortal enemies and today they're just friends?
“Oh,” he chuckled. “She's not disturbing me, we were both discussing that necklace. I wanted it but I guess it's worth losing to you.”
