“Careful,” Milan said as I took deep shaky breaths while slowly getting onto the dragon. The dragon suddenly let out a low growl and I instantly stopped, tightening my hold on Milan’s wrist. “He’s not going to hurt you Marietta.”
“I know. I know,” I replied in a rush as I listened to the scraping sounds the dragon’s scales made whenever it moved slightly. Of course, I knew the dragon wouldn’t hurt me because I have spent quite an amount of time in this yard and none of them had tried to hurt me or even given me a threatening growl but that didn’t stop me from being scared of them though. They had an aura that induced overwhelming fear!
