I didn't want to believe it, my mind still struggled with it, but if there was anything that brought me back to reality faster than I'd like, it was the hallways that blurred past me with each step I took.
The night air clawed at my face as I stormed away, my shoes clicking against the stone floors in a sharp, and furious rhythm.
