I know I'd said all I needed to do was survive this first, but honestly, I had no idea where and how to start that. A wave of cold washed over me, and I struggled to fight it back down. The chamber was colder than when I first walked in here, even though that was just a little while ago. Instead, it felt like I had been in here for hours, and the silence that pressed in on my skin like ice wasn't helping matters at all.
