For a heartbeat, I froze, and I could swear that my nervous system had completely been broken down. In fact, in this moment, I honestly didn't think that time existed anymore.
I had crazy dreams, and often times my intrusive thoughts were usually a lot, but if anyone had whispered into my ears, even my wolf, Venus, that this was how the night was going to end, then best believe I would have taken it as a badly executed joke or prank at best.
