Of all the plot twists life could throw at me right now, best believe I didn't see this one coming, at all. I wasn't a pessimist or whatever, and even though I didn't have a flair for dramatics, but I wouldn't be exaggerating when I said I kind of preferred to the presence of those vipers the council called girls, instead of being in this position with Diego.
I tried my hardest not to catch his eyes, but it was almost impossible. There was something about the way he seemed to command and bend even as little as the air around him.
