I was quietly reading a book in my room titled The Blood X, which is about a figurative family. The story is so good that you can't get it out of your mind, and it's impossible to forget. The book is the author's fiction and is classified as a fantasy, but when I first saw it, I felt uneasy and strange, as if I were close to it, and it was not just a work of fiction but something that actually happened due to the relationship between the characters and their prominent personalities. The corner of my lips lifted, and my eyebrows rose as I read, "I will kill anyone who hurts or touches her without hesitation." Sometimes I hear this cringe line, but I just can't remember whose it was. "How dare you insult my wife?" "Don't you want to live anymore?" I leaned against the wall, put the back of my palm on my forehead, and looked out the window, thinking, “Heh, is this real?” Is this someone I know in real life? I turned back to the book and kept reading. A few seconds later, there was a knock at my bedroom door. It entered without waiting for my permission and moved right in my direction. Wow, such a sweet presence. I don't have to face him or look at him because I know who he is. "What does an heir require in an unappreciative son?" After I said that, he hit my head, causing me to moan. "You!" I frowned and scolded him out of annoyance. "Stop your f*****g drama that doesn't even match our situation." He looked at me blankly. "Great-grandfather wants to see you," he said while taking the book I was reading. "The Blood X," for an inexplicable reason, his eyes widened, and he immediately placed it on the side table of the bed. I put my elbow on my knee, and inferior looked at him. Could it be that he knows something? He turned his gaze to me, causing our eyes to meet, which surprised him. "What?" I didn't say anything and just stared at him, meeting his gaze to see how he would react. "Is there something wrong with my face?" His eyebrows raised slightly. I grinned at him, and because of that, his face changed. "Could it be he noti-?" "Have you cleared your skin? I'm more handsome as always, but you're getting more handsome." I gave him a teasing smile, and he looked like he was breathing a sigh of relief. I have guessed it right. I'm curious, but I don't want him to be concerned about anything else, so I changed the subject. It is better to act like I am blind because this information might damage our family relationships. Maybe I should've just asked Jaxon to look into this and then pretend I'm unaware of it so there won't be any problems. They may be keeping this from me for a purpose, and one of those reasons, I believe, is to keep me safe. Seriously, I can take care of myself—why on earth would they even need to do that? "Have you forgotten about it? I was the first to emerge from my mother's womb" He removed his gloves and moved toward me, "You should have thanked me because if it wasn't for me," bringing his face closer to mine, and smirked self-satisfiedly. "if it had been someone else," He grabbed my jaw and jerked my head up to face him. "you wouldn't be this handsome." I slapped his hand and pushed him away with a devilish smile on my lips. "Heh!? bragging about who came out first." I took a handkerchief from my pocket and wiped my face and hands while crossing my legs. "You might be the elder, but it doesn't change the fact that I am more fascinating than you." After saying those words, his eyes darkened, as if he wanted me to vanish from this world. I hope it's not as bad as I think. "Watashi wa anata ni totte hontōni fuketsudesu ka?" [Am I really that filthy to you?] "Sono serifu wa onajimidesu ne." [that line sounds familiar doesn't it?] "As far as I can see, you are always annoyed with Zaven. As a stubborn brother, I tried to investigate what the reason was. Hmm... and based on your reaction, I seem to know why." As I descended from the window and made my way to the closet to put on clothes, I was shocked to discover that it was empty. "Nani?!" [What?!] I opened everything and checked it properly. "Where the hell did my clothes go?" I wrinkled when staring at the empty closet. I pressed a part of the wall, and suddenly the secret door opened for my other clothes. My vision darkened, and it was as if some kind of heat flowed through my body from the bottom to the head. "What the hell happened to my clothes?" I quickly went inside and checked all the containers, and none of them were left. "What the hell are you doing?" My brother suddenly appeared. "Damare." [Shut up.] "Don't interfere." I pressed something on the wall again, and it opened. I couldn't see anything in the second secret door either. I entered and quickly searched for a button. "Yamenasai" [stop it] I was afraid of it, but I didn't move and pressed a button. At the same time as it opened, I felt the force of my pounding heart. "Are you kidding me?" My brother entered without taking his eyes off what he saw. "It's a good thing Takiro wasn't able to witness everything." I went out, and my brother Kaiden immediately followed me. "Are you really that bastard enemy of mine in the underground world?" I stopped and turned to face him in disbelief when he said. "Co-could it be yo-" My eyes widened as he covered my mouth while whispering. I didn't think he was telling the truth, but everything he had taught me made it seem conceivable. "Quit reading and head to the room of your great-grandfather." I chose to ignore him and keep reading rather than following its order. I really don't like being ordered to do things that are against my heart. Being forced to do something I don't want to do is frustrating. "Only one person can command me. Is that it?" I gave him the cold shoulder before turning back to the book. My head began to heat up when my brother abruptly took what I was reading. This is the interruption I dread the most. "What do you want?" I was annoyed by this. He was about to hit me again but before that happened, I immediately flinched causing his eyes to widen. "You have to go to the old man's room." He said in an authoritative tone, I stood up and passed him. "Hey, don't try to run away." I gritted my teeth in anger. "What does an unappreciative son have to do with him?" Ts so annoying! Even though I turned my back, I could still feel his gaze locked on me. "Why don't you just go there and find it by yourself" The things he said really irritated me. Doe this i***t want me to kill him? What more do I need to know besides who took my clothes? After reading five more chapters, I had intended to turn in for the night. However, how could I sleep if someone was disturbing me? "Man, this is so frustrating." I sigh as I leave my room. "You really are stubborn" Does this older brother want to be kicked in the shins by me? As if he isn't aware that I was born for this. "Tsk!" I went to my great-grandfather's room with a frown written on my face. He interrupted me while I was reading, which annoyed me. What else does he need from me? Didn't I follow his orders enough to charge the debt of the El'fuentes family? Is there something wrong? All I know is that I did my job well. With that, I don't see any problem. I'll make sure that's the last time I get to do what he wants. This time, no matter what strategy he uses, I won't obey him. I really hate things I have to work hard at. I don't want to work. Doing anything is so troublesome. Doing a job is such a waste of my energy. I only want to do nothing but sleep. However, that old man keeps giving me commands even if I don't want to follow them, and it appears he has no plans to stop. He appears to be planning to execute his orders by killing me. I despise my great-grandfather, as expected. I was about to enter the room when my brother suddenly came out, he was surprised to notice me. "Looks like we have to go back to school" he patted me on the shoulder which made me frown, "get ready" he was holding on to his eyeglasses while his eyes were staring at me. "Here we are again at the boring stage" he may really just want to wander around for the rest of his life. "Tsk!" My brother and I really have the same attitude, but wait a minute! He nearly fell when I struck him in the head, he then scraped it and turned to face me in tears "Have I gone too far?" I asked, placing my hand on the back of my neck as he was about to strike me. However, I dodged the blow, and the force of his blow caused him to strike the wall, which caused his blood to boil even more. He seemed to want to punch me hard because he loathed me for doing that. I stepped closer to him, and he backed away. "The way you talked to me earlier, as if I were just your friend, huh?" I was about to hit him again when suddenly someone grabbed my hand. "Rade!" Zade immediately escape and approached him, hiding behind him. "Hmm Kaiden?" Wow, I did not notice that he followed me. "What's wrong, Wade? Didn't Zade get your attitude?" A smile appeared on his lips, and it was a sign of teasing. "And I got that habit from you too, Kaiden." If I tell him this, will he be angry? "Tsk!" I ignored him and went straight to our great-grandfather's room. Kaiden followed me and also entered the room, and Zade was about to leave when he was suddenly called by our old man, so he also followed us in. "What is it again?" My brother Kaiden quietly struck me in the stomach with his elbow after I urged him in an agitated manner to remind me to calm down. He crossed his hands and leaned back, peering at us emotionlessly, "I know you already know why you were summoned here.Your mother and father have already discussed this with m-." Kaiden interrupted the old man as he was going to say something, "Come on! Get to the point. Time is money." "What a workaholic asshole." I murmured "Shut up!" He yelled at me. Zade chuckled heartily. I turned to face him as he threw his body onto the couch and began solving a Rubik's cube. "Ahem!" I turned to face the elderly man when he coughed and got our attention. when he added, "You guys need to go back to school." "I enrolled you at Sathereneous Academy." I clenched my fist and prepared to strike him, but fortunately Kaiden slammed the table, which caused the old man to raise his brows. Tsk, this guy. He wants me to calm down, but he can't keep himself under control. "What were you thinking?" Due to the vein in his brain that is visible when you look at my brother, you can tell that this really got on his nerves and that he disagrees with the old man's wish. Also, I oppose it. He exclaimed at him, "You know I operate a corporation!" but the elderly man's expression didn't change at all. "Your best friend is back. Are you certain you won't return, Kaiden?" I'm not surprised, it's old man's nature to blackmail us. "He's on it," Zade said, and he burst out laughing again. I approached Zade, pulled him upright, and made him sit properly. "What are you doing?" he asked, annoyed, but I ignored it and just sat next to him. Suddenly, it messed up the big cube and gave it to me. He wants me to assemble it, I guess. "Huh!? You have the audacity to blackmail me using my friend." Great-grandfather looked at him seriously, just a sign that his liking would not change. Kaiden's eyes widened, and we both knew that with a sign like this, we had no hope of winning. He clenched his fist and firmly said the words, "I won't go back." No, bro, I doubted that. We know that this old man has a trump card, so let's not fool around here. "Can your conscience withstand the risk to your friend's life?" When he stated it, Kaiden was silent. He packed stuff before I cared to do it, which explains why my closet is empty. He prepared the items, and I assume my brothers will be treated similarly. "Hmm," I said as I put down the Rubik's cube. In shock, my brother Zade glanced at me and then at the Rubik's cube I had assembled. He was about to start speaking when I got up and left great-grandfather's room. "Tell me who dares to kill my buster." In the end, my brother gave up and agreed. I'm not going to speculate on why Zade is silent and has made no comment about this. I know his great-grandfather promised him something that will make it difficult for him to say no. And as for me... "Killian, where are you going, my boy?" Oh yeah, I'm doomed. I was ready to ignore him, but "I heard your fiance has just arrived in the Philippines and will be studying there as well." What he said stunned me. What the hell is he on about? "HOW THE f**k DID I GET A FIANCE!?"
