I feel like the air in my lungs is vibrating with nervous energy. We’re so close that our breath mingles in the air between us, and when I inhale my body comes alive from the feeling of his breath inside of me.  “What do you wish?” I ask again. I can see the tortured confusion in his eyes as he gazes at me. “I wish…” he sighs, “I wish I knew what to do. I’m so used to having my father’s guidance… and now I’m just lost. And I don’t see a way out.” My jaw tenses angrily. I want to kiss him and smack him all at the same time. “Then you’re blind,” I mutter, turning away from him. I can’t bear to look at his beautiful face anymore. For the next few hours I stride ahead, doing my best to ignore the sound of Lucas’ footsteps behind me, and the magnetic feeling of the bond between us.  After
