Instinctively my feet start to carry me toward the sound. Slowly at first, but then I accelerate with every step. Calliope is back. She’s here, and I have to find her. I run toward the beach, my legs aching and my lungs burning by the time I can hear the waves lapping against the shore. Directly in front of me is the rocky hillside that leads down to the shore. I peek over it, but it’s completely abandoned.  I let out a defeated sigh. But then the song begins again, and my head snaps up. My eyes trail up to the higher cliff that juts out over the shore, almost as if it’s reaching toward the horizon. And there she is. She’s standing on the edge of the cliff, her blond hair whipping in the wind around her, and the tattered remains of Angelo’s dress flapping in the wind. Her eyes are close
