No sooner have our heads hit the sand than we hear footsteps approaching. We can’t even enjoy our post-coital bliss for one minute before we’re torn apart again. He kisses my forehead, making my heart flutter again. I’m not used to these feelings… these butterflies in the stomach, the soreness of my cheeks from smiling too much. I hope this isn’t the only time I get to feel it. He yanks his pants on quickly and pulls himself to his feet. He reaches down to help me up as well, and I hastily brush the sand off of my dress and out of my hair.
