A Surprise Change

Sarah woke up one morning feeling nauseous and rushed to the bathroom to vomit. At first, Levi thought it was something she had eaten or a stomach bug, but as the days passed, she continued to feel sick. Levi took care of her, bringing her ginger ale and crackers and making sure she rested, but nothing seemed to help. She had been constantly tired, had a loss of appetite, and felt nauseous all the time. She tried to brush it off, thinking it was just a bug, but something inside her told her it was more than that. She couldn't shake the feeling that something big was about to happen. "I missed my period," she whispered, tears welling up in her eyes. "And I feel different." Do you think you're pregnant?" he asked, gently brushing her hair away from her face. Sarah nodded, her eyes filled with uncertainty. "I'm not sure, but I just have this feeling," she replied. Levi held her close, rubbing her back soothingly. "We'll get through this, whatever it is," he said. "We'll figure it out together." "But how?" Sarah asked. "We don't even have a pregnancy test on the yacht, how are we going to know for sure?." "We'll find a way," Levi replied confidently. "We'll stop at the next port and get you a test. Until then, I'll take care of you." Sarah leaned into Levi's embrace, feeling grateful for his support. "Thank you," she said. "I don't know what I would do without you." Levi kissed the top of her head. "You don't have to worry about that," he said. "I'm not going anywhere." Despite his best efforts to take care of her, Sarah's health continued to decline. She couldn't eat or drink anything without feeling nauseous, and she spent most of her days in bed, barely able to move. Levi was growing increasingly worried about her, and he couldn't shake the feeling that something was seriously wrong. He tried to keep her spirits up, but it was becoming harder and harder as the days went on. Sarah knew that something was off too, but she didn't want to worry Levi even more by expressing her fears. Levi spent hours pacing the deck of the yacht, trying to come up with a plan to get a pregnancy test and medicine for Sarah. He knew they needed to find a place where they wouldn't be recognized and could get the help they needed without drawing attention to themselves. But where could they go? As he looked out over the vast expanse of the ocean, a plan started to form in his mind. He had heard about a small island that was off the beaten path, where tourists rarely ventured. It was rumoured to have a small clinic that was staffed by a retired doctor who lived on the island. If they could make it there, they might be able to get the help they needed without anyone finding out. Levi quickly got to work, plotting their course, she was worried about what would happen if they were caught, but at the same time, she knew they couldn't wait any longer to get the help she needed. With everything in place, Levi set the course for the small island, determined to get Sarah the care she needed no matter what it took. Over the next few days, Sarah's condition continued to worsen, and Levi became increasingly worried. She couldn't keep anything down, and he feared she might become dehydrated. He did everything he could to care for her, making sure she was comfortable and had plenty of water and electrolytes. Finally, they arrived at the small island, and Levi went to the pharmacy alone to buy a pregnancy test and some anti-nausea medication. He felt nervous and anxious, hoping that nobody would recognize him. Luckily, he was able to find everything they needed without any problems. When he returned to the yacht, Sarah nervously took the pregnancy test, and they waited anxiously for the results. After what felt like an eternity, he looked up with a grin, she let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding. "It's positive," he said, his voice full of joy and wonder. Sarah's eyes filled with tears as she threw her arms around him. "We're going to have a baby," she whispered. Levi held her close, feeling a mixture of emotions - happiness, excitement, and a little bit of fear. "I can't wait to be a dad," he said, a sense of responsibility settling over him. Sarah laughed through her tears. "I can't wait to see you as a dad. You're going to be amazing." They spent hours talking about their hopes and fears for their future new family. "Can you imagine holding our baby in our arms?" Sarah exclaimed, a smile spreading across her face. Levi grinned back at her. "I can't wait to teach him/her everything I know. We'll have so much to teach him/her, and so much love to give." Sarah nodded, her eyes bright with excitement. "I just hope we'll be good parents. What if we mess up?" Levi put a reassuring arm around her. "We'll make mistakes, sure. But we'll learn from them and grow stronger together. And we'll always love our child, no matter what." Sarah snuggled closer to him, feeling more grateful than ever for their love and partnership. "I'm scared, but I'm also so excited. We're going to be parents!" Levi smiled and kissed her forehead. "Yes, we are. And we're going to be the best damn parents out there." Sarah looked up at him, her eyes shining with happiness. "I'm so grateful for this. I can't wait to hold our baby in my arms and start our family." After the initial excitement and celebration, Levi and Sarah began to make plans for the future. They knew they needed to find a place to settle down and start their new life as a family. They spent the next few days discussing and researching potential locations, weighing the pros and cons of each one. Sarah and Levi had everything they needed in terms of financial stability, thanks to their successful heist. But that didn't mean they didn't want a sense of community and a safe environment for their child. They decided on a cozy coastal town, surrounded by a warm and welcoming community. As they prepared to leave their yacht and move into their new home, Sarah felt a sense of excitement and anticipation for the future. She couldn't wait to see her child grow up in this new place and be a part of a close-knit community. Levi was determined to provide for his family and make sure they had everything they needed. He researched job opportunities in the town and found that there were plenty of options for him to choose from. He was confident that he could make it work, no matter what challenges lay ahead. After packing up their belongings and saying goodbye to their old life, they set sail towards their new home. Sarah snuggled up close to Levi, feeling a sense of contentment and happiness. "I can't believe we're finally doing this," she said, a smile on her face. Levi kissed her forehead and pulled her closer. "I know, me too," he replied. "But we're going to be great parents and we have each other. We'll make it work, I promise." They both gazed out at the vast, endless horizon, ready to start their new life together. Sarah was excited to become a mother and raise a family with Levi, and Levi was ready to provide for them and keep them safe. They were a team, and nothing could stop them now.
