Chapter 1: The Devil's Offer
The rain was pouring outside the tall glass windows of Aryan Chaudhry's office.
Tamanna stood in front of his desk, her hands shaking. She needed money. Desperately. Her father's surgery was tomorrow and the hospital bill was 5 lakh taka.
"Please Mr. Chaudhry," she whispered. "I need an advance on my salary."
Aryan didn't even look up from his papers. He was cold, arrogant, and the richest CEO in the city. "You are just a secretary, Tamanna. What makes you think I will give you money?"
Tears filled Tamanna's eyes. "My father will die without this surgery."
Finally Aryan looked at her. His dark eyes were empty. "Fine. I will pay for the surgery. But you will marry me."
Tamanna froze. "What?"
"You heard me," Aryan said, leaning back in his chair. "Marry me for one year. Be my wife on paper. In return, I pay all your father's bills. No love. No feelings. Just a contract."
Tamanna's heart broke. She hated him. But she had no choice. For her father, she would do anything.
"Deal," she said with a trembling voice.
Aryan smiled coldly. "Good. The wedding is tomorrow."
Outside, the rain got heavier. Tamanna walked out of the office knowing her life was about to change forever. She was going to marry the devil himself.
