3 hours and 18 tests later, the reality of being pregnant is starting to sink in. Matt had to leave and attend his meeting, he said he would cancel but I refused to let him. My mind feels like its going 100 mph, i feel like im about to jave a panic attack. " Its ok we are going to be fine, Matt loves us and will take good care of us and our pup. You are overreacting, and I dont thi k we should be alone right now." Lilah says. She's right im starting to panick and I definitely should not be alone. "Andrea, can you please come quick" I link her. A few minutes later she walks in my bedroom door arms raised in victory, " So was I right, or was I right" she says as she glaces over at a pile of pregnancy tests pretty much answering her own question. " Im soooo happy for you, what did Matt say, what was his reaction, oh my goodness your going to have a baby!" She squeals with excitment causing me to erupt in tears. " Whats wrong, why are you crying" she wraps me in a hug. " Im just so scared and nervous and as much as I want to be happy, everything is going to change, and what if something happens to someone and Matt wasn't there to protect them because he is too distracted by me or the baby. What if he resents me for needing his time, what if we aren't ready. I dont want to disappoint the pack now that ive bonded with everyone, im just so..." im crying to hard to finish my sentence. " Alright Larissa take a deep breath, in your nose out your mouth, deep breath good deep breath...Now im going to need you to stop crying! You are our Luna, not some weak b***h! You know damn well Matt could never resent you, if anything having his child will only make him love you more. The pack will be overjoyed to know that you are carrying the future Alpha of our pack, no one is going to be upset with you. Im telling you Larissa your moodiness is all over the place, its all these damn pregnancy hormones, but its ok im here to help. Come on, who's hungry"? She says with a smile. I wipe the last if my tears and begin to laugh " You know me so well, but did you really just call your Luna a b***h". " No disrespect, but I had to say something to snap you out of this funk". " Thank you for being the best friend a Luna could have". I say. " So what are you hungry for" she asks. " mmmm Pizza". Our pizza arrives and we decide to eat in the living  room and watch a movie.After demolishing 6 slices I feel myself getting sleepy. "Im going to head back, Matt should be here soon. You gunna be ok"? She asks as she tosses me a blanket. " Yeah ill be fine, thanks for the pep talk I really needed it, and the pizza" I tell her as I close my eyes. A little while later I feel myself being lifted off the couch. I dont panick or bother opening my eyes I just wrap my arm around his neck and take in his scent. I love my mates smell, its so calming and relaxing. He carries me to our room and gently lays me on the bed. He is being so super careful with me that its kinda annoying. " Im pregnant, not made of glass" I tell him. He lets out a laugh. " Not made of glass, got it" he says as he pulls me closer to him. My back to his chest. He moves my hair and places soft kisses on my neck. His hand slides down my arm to my waist. Then he moves his hand down to my stomach. He just rest his hand there and I place mine on top of his. " Andrea helped me make an appointment for next week on Monday" I tell him hoping he will be able to go. " Ok baby, Ill be there with you". " I wonder how far along you are" he says. " Well im going to guess a little over a month" I say as I roll over to face him. " What makes you so sure" he asks. " Well the ceremony was a month ago, and thats around the time I noticed some small changes, Like my body refused alcohol, My tastebuds were enhanced, and I started craving meat, and hot sauce."  "Yeah that seems about right, well looking back I didnt think twice about all those things but now that we know your pregnant it all makes sense." He says. " So if I am correct we have only 3 maybe 4 months(wolf pregnancies only last 5 months)to baby proof this house, design a nursery, come up with a name." I say panick slowly creeping in again. " Larissa remember what andrea said, dont start losing it" Lilah tells me. I take a couple deep breaths. " Will we be able to see the gender on Monday"? Matt asks. " I dont know why do you ask". " Well it would be so much easier decorating the nursery if we knew what we were having" he says rubbing my belly. " What do you hope it is" i ask. " Well like most guys I want a little boy, a little buddy...but when I see you with little Amy how she looks up to you, it makes me want a little princess girls are just so precious, what about you what do you want the baby to be". " I dont know honestly, im still trying to process the fact that we are having a baby so as long as our baby is healthy and safe i will love it no matter what it is." I say. Im actually surprised by my response because I truly truly mean it, ive only known about my baby for a couple hours and im already so protective of it, and I feel such an enormous amount of love for this little baby growing inside me. " Its our maternal instinct, we are forming a bond with our pup" says lilah. " I love our baby" i say. Matt wraps me in both his arms, " I love our baby to, and I love you Larissa, your going to be a great mother, I cant wait to watch you with our pup, your so amazing baby" he says. We lay wrapped in each others arms for awhile until I remember something..." Why did Alpha Iris want to set up a meeting with you?" I ask. " Oh yeah about that, how do you feel about traveling to the White Wind pack"? " Why would we be traveling there" i ask confused. " Well, Alpha Iris has informed me that she has finally found her mate, she will be having a ceremony next Friday to transfer the Alpha title to her mate and she will become Luna". He says " How exciting im so happy for her" my expression suddenly changes as I remember that Daniel is being held there. " Its ok baby, their prison is heavily guarded and we will take extra warriors to help them stand guard, its only for 2 days" he conforts me. " Plus Alex is my beta so he will be traveling with us and he is going to be bringing Andrea along". I smile. " I figured you would want your best friend there with you" he says. I let out a yawn. "Get some sleep baby" he kisses my forhead. Im about to fall asleep when Andrea comes through my link. " Did Matt tell you about Alpha Iris" she asks " Yes! Im so excited for her" i say with a yawn. " I wonder who he is" she says. " No clue, im going back to bed see you tomorrow" i tell her as I close my eyes.
