Daniel POV*

"Why does he keep us waiting" Jasper my wolf asks. " I dont know, he is up to something" i reply.

"Do you think he knows? Does he know we betrayed him". He asks, " Oh he knows, dont you see the fury in his eyes everytime he looks at us, but what I dont understand is why he hasnt attacked me, I am stealing his mate, and leading him to his death and he hasn't done or challenged a single thing". " I told you this was a bad idea Daniel! It doesnt matter how much we love Larissa she is not our mate! Killing Matt will destroy her, and you as well. He is our brother our blood! Why are we doing this" my wolf lectures me. " Dont you understand Jasper, I will do anything to be with Larissa, Matt doesn't deserve her! He is not good for her. He doesnt know her favorite song, her favorite movie, he doesnt know anything about her! He doesn't see her for her true worth, he just wants her to become Luna so he can finally fully claim the Alpha title, the title that should have been mine! Im tired of him taking everything that is rightfully mine and today is the day we take back what is ours" my emotions flood out of me." But if she realizes we are behind this Daniel she will never loves us again. We need to let her go, our true mate is still out there and once we find her she will be perfect for us, and we can forget about Larissa". " Forget about Larissa! How could you say that Jasper, how could you even think about forgetting about her"      " BECAUSE SHE IS NOT OUR MATE" he screams at me. " Let me make this perfectly clear, I HAVE NO OTHER MATE, LARISSA WILL BE MY MATE ONE WAY OR ANOTHER SHE WILL BE MINE" and with that I block Jasper out. I refuse to let him back in until this is all over, I wont let him talk me out of this. She will still love me I know she will, she cant forget about us so easily. Even if she is my brothers mate, once he is dead she will forget all about him and there will only be us.

Larissas POV*

I growing impatient. My obsessive need to be in control is driving me to the edge. I have tried mind linking Daniel, I want some f*****g answers but he continues to block me. Him blocking me out only confirms my fears about him. " Its true, he really did set us up" Lilah whimpers. " But how could he after everything we have been through together. What does he think once he kills Matt we are just going to throw ourselves at him" I tell her. " We have all heard the stories of how people damn near go insane when they lose their mate, people even die because they simply cann not go on without their other half, how could he bring this upon us he is out of his f*****g mind if he thinks I will ever be with him" "Matt" i link him. " Im here baby" he replies. "I know your close, I can feel you" i tell him. " Yes we are right outside, we have the place surrounded, im only waiting for my father but I promise I will have you in my arms soon enough" he assures me. "Matt im so sorry, I shouldn't have pushed you away, Im sorry I ever made you feel unwanted. Its not that I didnt want to accept you, I just wanted to make sure Daniel was ok. Im sorry I got us into this". I cry to him " Baby stop this isn't your fault, I was always gone in meetings and training, I left both of you, and you guys only had each other. I knew this was hard on both of you. I know you had feelings for one another. When you locked yourself in your room I tried my hardest to talk to Daniel, I told him how sorry I was but its not our decision, the moon Goddess chose you for me and I couldnt change it but he refused to hear me out. Daniel made his decision to go against his family and his pack, and im sorry Larissa but I cant change the consequences he now faces". He tells me. " What consequences Matt? What are you going to do to him?" I beg. " Im sorry, but he has challenged me for my mate. If anyone challenges the Alpha I have to fight...till the death".       " Please no! I know he is responsible for this, but I know he doesn't truly mean it, he is just acting out of desperation, Im not taking his side, I will always choose you Matt but please dont kill him"  i beg. " Even if I refuse his challenge he won't stop Larissa, his actions speak louder then words, he wont stop until he has you, I cant make any promises because I dont know what he will do, but I will try baby" he says." I just dont want to lose either of you. I cant lose you, your my mate and I need you and want to be your Luna, but he is my best friend I cant lose him either".

Matts POV*

I can feel the pain in her plea. I know her feelings for him are still there. But I sense that they are different. I know she is no longer in love with him, but she still has a strong love for him. If I were to kill him it would crush her. She truly would be losing her best friend. If I kill him then I am causing her the same pain Daniel would cause by killing me. " we cant hurt her" aries tells me. " As much as id like to kill him for taking her from us we cant cause our mate that pain" he tells me. " I dont want to hurt her either Aries, and I will try my best to reason with him but if he attacks first we will have no choice" i tell him. "Im here Matt" my father calls. I turn around and see him a short distance away. " you have traveled fast father, please take some rest" i tell him.

" Everyone stay on high alert, and wait for my signal, remember my orders Larissas safety is top priority, prepare yourself for battle" I tell my warriors through our link.
