Three: Drien Academy

"Your highness, are you sure about bringing those kids to our school?"

"Your majesty, they might just bring destruction in our humble school, we can't afford the consequences"

"We all know that the Venganzians had been doing heinous deeds for the past years they were exiled, and they never showed remorse"

"I agree your highness, they have been conquering small villages and making its people slaves"

"I heard they have already even conquered the east valley"

"This is a complete mess"

"Silence!" The king shouted that shuts every mouth in the council.

The King held his nose bridge as he thought about his council's protestations. The King himself too was not even sure of his decision, if the crowned prince didn't only insist on accepting the Venganzians bait, this remonstrance wouldn't have occurred.

"My decision has been made and I have already sent a letter of invitation for their students. Might as well now, they were probably on their way to the academy." The king explained that drained out almost most of the blood from the council's faces.

"With all due respect your highness, we can all clearly see that the Venganzians set the trouble at the party for them to have a free pass to the academy. They were probably making an agenda the moment they received the invitation, and planned to bring the crowned prince down" Franco said, one of the elders.

"If news spread that we took those heinous beast's children, all student from the academy might protest and the image of the Academy might get stained," Hilda said that made every council member agree.

The king can't say anything. What the council was saying was all true and he can't bring himself to oppose them. But only one person never said a thing about the havoc happening now- Lucianna. And he is just waiting for her to speak up.

"We all have to stop them" Franco said and everyone on the council indulged with him.

"Lucianna, what can you say?" Leonardo whispered to Lucianna who is just listening to everybody's commotion.

Lucianna has been quiet for a long time and seems to has been thinking deeply about the situation. Then she decided to stand up that calmed the council and now, all eyes are on her.

"Lucianna, do you have any idea what to do?" Hilda asked. Lucianna took a deep breath before she answered.

"If this is what the Venganzians want, then this is what they'll get" Lucianna said that made everybody in the room looked puzzled.

"What do you mean Lucianna?" The king asked.

"I say, we resolve" Lucianna answered that brought more confusion in the council.

"Sorry Lucianna, we seem not to understand what you're getting into" Hilda said.

Lucianna then looked at the moon ore, as it glows lightly every time she speaks.

"We have no way to turn them back now. They can be the predators, but this is our territory, and we can use them to discreetly unfold the Venganzians plan. And to finally end this feud that brought a lot of tears to us" Lucianna replied.

"But how?" The King asked.

"By starting with restoring the Hawkins clan" Lucianna said. 

Hera looked outside the carriage's window as her eyes scrutinize the whole enormous village of Celliondale. She never thought this place could look this nice in the day since it was night when they invaded the party. She's never been here even once before because her father forbids her for even just coming near the Celliondale's border. And seeing the beauty of the village is astounding her.

"Easy there Hera, you might melt the whole village" Kevin joked that diverted Hera's attention to him.

"It won't" Hera said eyes still sparkling at the townspeople who are busy with their own businesses. Hera can also see some people looking at their carriage as it passes them.

"Woah students of Drien Academy is here" one of the village kid said as his friends agreed with him in awe.

"Aren't all children of Celliondale receives the chance to go to the academy?" Hera asked.

"Ugh yes?" Cyrus replied.

Hera's eyebrows crossed as she notices a small ranch house was labeled a school and some girls and boys her age were going inside there.

"Then why do some of the students like us still goes to that small school?" Hera asked then all of them took a peek at what Hera was pertaining to.

"Probably because they only accept students with money to burn, gosh Hera, are you that dumb? This is word Hera" Monica said shrewishly.

Hera then just rolled her eyes at how she talks to her.

"Monica" Xyder said in a warning tone.

"What? Your gonna defend her now?" Monica sneered at Xyder while he just glared at her.

"Oh, you can't talk? Come on, I know how you wish Hera was yours" Monica added that build-up tension inside the carriage.

"Monica" Kevin tried to meddle when they felt how the carriage is cold and how Xyder's claw came out and how Cyrus was alarmed by the happenings.

 "Oh sorry Kevin, but you don't care, right? Cause you're her mate " Monica said that just turned the whole carriage fiddly.

'Ugh, I had enough of this girl' Hera said to her head and is about to talk back to her when Kevin held her hand.

"Tace" Kevin cast a spell that made Monica suddenly shut up and can't open her mouth anymore. Then Kevin signaled Cyrus to hypnotize Monica.

"Why did the alpha make Monica come with us again?" Cyrus asked but no one answered him and he doesn't really need an answer anyway.

"Want to stroll around when we get there?" Kevin asked which made Hera excited and her urge to rant was gone in an instant.

"Can we do that???" Hera asked thrilled like a little girl.

"Why not?" Kevin said as he put Hera's hair back at her ears, his eyes admiring Hera's beauty and Hera blushed.

Hera is so gorgeous, even the word gorgeous is not enough to describe her beauty. And any wolf, vampire or fairies, mated or not, maybe captivated by her. No wonder the alpha keeps her distance from other men. And why Xyder has this tension around them right now.

"Easy there you two love birds. You can't just do that to us who still hasn't met our mates yet, can you?" Cyrus joked that just made a plain smile on Kevin's face.

They didn't know that Hera and Kevin weren't actually mates yet, their parents said it to be a secret for personal purposes. And all they knew about is that Hera and Kevin were mates who just found each other earlier than anybody does. Even before they were eighteen.

"Anyway, we're almost there" Xyder said.

"Oh, are we?" Hera just said then looked at the outside of the window to get her awkward feelings away.

Hera doesn't really get why her father wants revenge on Celliondale when they seem nice. She never knew what history has Celliondale with the venganzians. But it sure is ugly base on how her father loathed them and some of their village elders schemed on taking revenge. But the king of Celliondale seems to at least care about them when he sends clothes for them. And speaking of clothes, Monica seems to have trouble with it. The king sent them matching clothes with different styles which somehow complimented their clan with the color black as the main theme. And so far, only Monica is the only one who hates it, since the king might not get her size right and made hers a little extra large.

"Ugh, these fancy clothes!" Monica complained about her suit as she took off the cloak that seems to annoy her most.

"It looks good on you though" Cyrus said as he winked at Monica who just rolled her eyes at him.

Kevin already reversed the spell when Monica already calmed down and the carriage came back to the normal temperature. So she can bluster again.

Hera's eyes almost fell out when she saw the big gate which will lead them inside the academy. The gate's so big that they can't even see how tall it is. They can also see the big golden letters written Drien academy on the gate's wall. Just then they realized that more carriages similar to them are lining up to the entrance. Limousines and cars were also there. 

"What do they call those long cars again?" Cyrus asked.

"Limousine Cy" Kevin replied that just made Cyrus nod in response and seem fascinated by the limousines.

"When do we have those here?" Monica asked in a rash tone.

"Their probably rich wolves or vampires who came from the human world Monica" Xyder explained, which made Monica flip her hair and looked outside of the window.

Mermaids and mermen were also being driven by their own sea carriages and fairies were just simply chatting and having a tea party at their flying carriage. The school must've been really big to have this many students to apply.

And then, the awaited moment go as the big gate opened, and all of them was stunned by the elegance and beauty of the academy.

Hera gasp in amused. What she is seeing is more than just tall trees and small houses like what she always sees back in the dark forest. Magical trees were lining up to the road and are well-cut. Tiled streams greeted them and ahead was a majestic fountain with an angel holding a harp statue. 

Students were also walking in the school loan in their luxurious uniforms and seems to be busy with some activities. Some are on the field doing some sports.

A little later after, the carriage dropped them in an entrance which will lead them to the great hall where all the students will be welcomed. And by just the looks of it, many students from different kingdoms were there and that includes the royalties too.

After they went out of the carriage, most of the eyes were on them. 

"Do you think they knew us?" Cyrus asked.

They are now walking in the hallway going to the great hall.

"They probably don't. unless the Driens announced that we were the villain's children." Monica answered.

"Gosh, who are they? They all looked gorgeous" a random girl said and is heard by them.

"I guess this place is not bad after all" Cyrus said as a big smile flashed on his face.

While Hera, on the other hand, seems worried and Kevin noticed it so Kevin then held Hera on her waist and Hera doesn't seem to bother at all, since they were 'mates' after all. And they've been like this since last year.

"Nervous?" Kevin asked.

"Yeah... I just... I don't..." Kevin warmly smiled at Hera so really looks nervous and holds her hand that calm her.

"You got me okay?" Kevin comforted her and it worked. Hera smiled at him in response.

"Gosh! His highness is here"

"Retouch my makeup!"

"Prince Adam!"

"They are all insanely handsome!"

The Crowned Prince went out of the limousine together with his troops and created a commotion with the girls.

"No one can really resist my handsomeness," Julius said confidently.

"You mean mine" Angelo said with a big smile on his face.

"Oh shut up fish boy" Julius disputes without showing his annoyed face to the crowd.

"No, you shut up flower boy" Angelo replied.

"and there they go again" Koda whispered to himself. While Lucas and Adam stayed silent as girls clamoring around them.

Royal guards then turned the girls away as they make way for the royal highness.

"Adam..." Lucas called out for Adam while Adam just gave him a look as they continue to walk.

"I heard they just arrived" Lucas continued that made Adam stopped and took another route.

"Hey dude, our classroom is that way" Julius said to Adam but Adam didn't care less about him and just ignored him.

"Just follow him Julius" Koda simply said as they make their way to the great hall.

When they entered the hall, they can hear that the announcer was reading every clan, and speers name, and the first thing that Adam's eyes ever landed into is the beautiful villain who seems to be so close to a certain man.

Adam suddenly clenched his fist unnoticed.

"Willington!" the announcer said as the spotlight landed on the group where elegant-looking students wave at everyone.

"This is madness! They never said that they're going to announce our clan's name in public!" Monica burns in rage. As her pack tried to stop her from making any more noise.

"Monica calm down" Cyrus tried to calm her but he just can't do it. 

Since she can't be stopped from protesting, they drag her into an empty room to talk. Hera then used her force field to make the room soundproof.

"Monica, stay put. Don't make a scene and calm down! You're overreacting" Hera tried to hold Monica's tongue but she is just too stubborn.

"Calm down? You're saying that I need to calm down? Can't you see what they're trying to do here? They're trying to sabotage us by announcing that was the villain's children! and then what? All of them will disgust us and treat us like trash!" Monica hysterically said.

Hera was stunned, she was out of words. She understands what Monica means. Being a Venganzian has never been easy since you were seen as a bad guy and no one even dares to come near you as if you're some weirdo. Their clan's deeds destroyed the trust of their nation and it is linked to them. Since they were young, other kids from different kinds never even dared to be friends with them, even the kids from the villages they conquered. Every time they wanted to make friends, children will start to tremble when they start to talk, even if they were outnumbered.

"Then let's face it Monica" Xyder said that puzzled Monica.

"And then what? Be some loser?" Monica asked sarcastically.

"No" A short but cold voice answered, it was Kevin.

"Then what?!" Monica asked annoyed.

Hera looked at Kevin. He looks so serious and in rage, she can his eyes on fire. Hera then holds his hands.

"If they know about us being villains, then it means we can rule over them. And that's what we'll do" Kevin said.

"Because that's what we're here for" Cyrus added which seems to work on Monica.

"Now, let's go back inside, or they'll notice that we're gone" Kevin said still so serious and they all agreed.

They all went back and every clan seems to have been called already except theirs.

"And lastly but not the least, a group of five from the most riches wolf clan in history... The Hawkins!!!" The announcer said as the spotlights spotted their group and a loud wave of applause filled the hall then music hits as the welcoming party started.

"Hawkins?" Hera said out of breath.

"What are they---" Cyrus didn't get to finish what he was saying when the music goes wilder and what he said next was mute.

Hera looked at Kevin and he doesn't seem shocked at all, or maybe he is just the kind of person who doesn't get that shock instantly. And while looking at him, Kevin catches Hera's eyes and he smiled.

"It's noisy here, what us to get out?" Kevin asked then Hera just smiled as she nods and Kevin held her hand. Together, they went out. But for some reason, something seems to keep them apart.

"Kevin!"Hera called out for him when the crowd drove him away from her and she tried to reach out for him.

"Hera come on!" Hera can see from Kevin's face that he was already shouting but the crowd was too noisy for her not to hear it properly.

"Kevin!" Hera called out but Kevin disappeared into the ocean of strangers.

Like a little kid. Hera felt lost and can't seem to find her way back. So she just stayed there standing. And an unknown image flashed into her memories.

"Yura!" little Hera called out in the woods and seems to call someone.

Hera held her head for the slight flash in her head.

A goblin growls from afar and little Hera runs still calling for someone's name.

"Yura!!!" Little Hera called out as she keeps on running.

Hera held her head when she felt pain.

"Ugh!" Hera groaned.

Then a random girl bumps into her, but before she even hits the ground. a warm embrace catches her. And again, their eyes met.

"We meet again......"

Hera's eyes widen as he saw those golden-brown eyes again. And felt the strange feeling she has the first day their eyes met like this.

"...Hera" Adam said and the way he spoke her name feels different.
