By the time I turned onto Greek Row, the afternoon sun had started dipping low enough to cast long shadows across the sidewalks. Students wandered between houses in hoodies and athletic shorts, some carrying backpacks, others balancing takeout containers or footballs under their arms. It was a typical weekday on campus, yet this end of the street always had its own personality.
The fraternity houses were already awake for the evening, music drifting from open windows as guys hauled coolers toward front porches in preparation for whatever party they were planning that night.
