Chapter 21
Maria's POV:
Convincing my mother was hard, I begged her not to go to LimeLight boarding school and after a lot of persuasion she agreed but I had to go eventually to get my reports. It had been weeks since I made the call and I wasn't in any mood to go there until one Sunday morning. It was one of those days, dark and shadowed, the day was foreshadowing something I wasn't able to understand.
“Where are you going?” My father asked as he found me all dressed up.
“Just to the school to get my reports,” I replied calmly so he wouldn't notice how nervous I was from the inside. I didn't want to see James but I had no other choice. It was just going to be for one time, then this anxiety and this pain would be all gone.
