Evelyn's pov
I stopped in my tracks as soon as I saw a painting which was really beautiful but Incomplete. Why am I saying this? Because the picture has everything but a face.
It doesn't have a face like nothing at all. The facial portion is blank. Curiosity got the best of me and I walked towards it.
Even if she doesn't have any face she is still beautiful. I had the urge to touch her but didn't as Maria told me clearly to not touch anything here.
“What are you doing there Evelyn?” I got startled as I heard Maria's voice.
I took a step back from the picture in fear that she might get angry at me and fire me on the very first day.
“I was just leaving. I'm sorry! I didn't mean to break any rules.” I apologised quickly fearing a harsh reaction from her.
