"Cover this ugly bruise of yours mutt, I don't want any drama in the ball." Zach came and threw a concealer to hide the bruise he gave me
I nodded silently and with the help of Isabelle, I hid the bruise to an extent. Concealer can't hide everything can it? If it did then I would have been more happy.
The Lycan king is here already and I need to go down if I don't want to be beaten again.
Everyone is scared of him very much and they should be because he is not a normal Lycan. He is a Hybrid! Lycan and vampire Hybrid. His mother was the vampire princess and his father was the former Lycan king. They both had a mate bond between them and hence he took birth as one of his unique kind. He is the ruler of the vampire coven as well. I know Lycan and vampires are enemies but somehow he is managing them both.
I haven't seen him ever but I heard he has dual eye colour. One is blood red and another is Forest green, each side represents his nature. What does he look like with those eyes? Guess what I will find out.
I am in charge of taking care of his needs throughout the ball because I'm the most beautiful omega present here. Obviously I will be because I'm not an omega. Duh! I deserve to be Luna but I won't be greedy. I just want my mate to love and accept me. I am not dying for a title. I can be the Hybrid king's mate as well who knows? Haha just kidding.
Just 4 more hours and I will be able to meet my mate. Today many people from different packs are here. Maybe my mate is here but I don't know him.
I am talking like a silly girl. I shouldn't think like this. My mate will love me, unlike these pack members who bully me and hurt me.
I can't wait to meet my wolf either. I am so excited for it.
"Eve go Alpha is calling you. You need to be present in front of the Lycan king." Isabelle said and I nodded

"She is Evelyn tonight she will serve you king." the alpha said and I kept my head low because we aren't allowed to look at him which really disappointed me because I wanted to see his eyes
People say his eyes are scary. Nobody can stare at his eyes for long. My heart wishes to check if it's true or not.
"I didn't know that omegas are punching bags here." the king commented and I gasped in shock
Oh Moon Goddess! How did he know? I tried my best to hide it with makeup still he caught it? Now Zach will beat me more.
"What are you saying? Why will we harm our omegas?" the Luna came to hide the fact they actually do it with me
"Then why is this omega hurt? It looks like someone beat her." He said and I couldn't help but look at him breaking the rules
He was too handsome to be real. I have never seen anyone like him. His different eye colors enhance his masculine charm.
Who are they even who say that his eyes are dangerous? I feel those are the best things on his face which makes him different and magnificent.
I don't know for how long I stared at him but I looked down when I realized what I was doing. He wasn't looking at me thankfully as he was busy talking to our Alpha and Luna regarding me. What a gentleman he is! I sighed!
"I don't want any of the omegas suffering in any pack, Alpha Lucas. Keep that in mind. Now ask all the unmated females to stand in a line so I can check if my mate is here or not." the king said and Alpha nodded in yes
Maybe they had a conversation which I omitted of course I did because I was busy ogling at his sinfully handsome face. Oh good lord, something is wrong with me for sure. I shouldn't be talking like this about the king
I stood behind him for a while but he didn't say anything to me. I was just standing to his aid but he didn't need me. Zach was glaring at me from time to time whenever that Lycan king wasn't looking. I don't know what he will do to me after the party ends.
All the females stood in a line. There must be 50 wolves standing here including me. I know I'm not his mate still. The rule is the rule!
Just two more hours and I will be able to sense my mate. I hope he is here please Moon Goddess answer my prayers.

Finally, the clock hit 12 o'clock and he came in front of me.
"Your name?" He asked me.
"Evelyn, My king." I replied to him immediately.
I didn't feel the spark with his voice or smell. That means he isn't not my mate.
Which disappointed me and what's more bad?
My mate isn't even present here
The king nodded at me and turned around.
Suddenly, a delicious smell hit my nose.
My mouth couldn't help but come out a whisper:
