Alexander's Pov

Even though I wasn't willing to go for Kat I had to. She cheers me up all the time. If I don't go now it won't be good. So half heartedly I got ready.

I know today she will try to set me up with some wolf or vampire. As a hook up night but I won't do it. I never did nor I will. Yes I'm almost 30 now that's a different thing

Imagine getting your wolf for 12 years yet not finding your mate. How frustrating can it be? Katherine tried her powers as well to find my mate but failed. Even mother tried calling powerful witches but no positive response came. Most of them said she doesn't exist in this world. Which can't be true. I know and believe that. The day I will lose that hope I will choose to step down from the throne and go far away from everyone but that's for the future not the present.

I wore jeans and a shirt and to hide my two different eye colors I chose to wear lenses. I only show them in front of the immortal creatures not in front of humans and today we are visiting a human club. They might find it weird or attractive I don't know but I feel uncomfortable.

“You're looking hot brother,” Kat commented coming downstairs

“Tell me something I don't know.” I replied with a smirk and she rolled her eyes

“You brother sister duo, if you're done then let's go. Don't you think king we should take security with us? After you rejected the witch princess. Her coven isn't quite happy with it. They might do something to take revenge.” Henry her mate said

“I know but I don't think we need security right now. No one knows that we are going out. We will blend in humans.” I told him and he agreed

We 3 left for the club but in between i noticed someone was following us constantly. As I was driving I decided to check if my suspicion was correct or not. To my bad luck it was correct.

“Where are you taking us Alex? This isn't the way to the club.” Kat asked me

“Are we under attack king?” Henry asked as he might have sensed something as well

“Maybe, hold your seats tight, I'm taking our enemies away from humans. If they attack us here we can't even fight as humans might notice us.” I told him and he nodded

I make them follow me to the outskirts of the town and see they aren't few but many in number.

“Are we ready to fight?” I asked both of them

“Always! They destroyed my plan to visit a club. Now I will dance on their corpses.” Kat said and I shook my head

This girl can never be serious about something. We are under attack yet she is in mood to have to fun with our enemies. What should I do with her?

We 3 came out of our car and saw many masked men are surrounding us. They are mixed creatures vampire, werewolf, wizards. But the question is how did they knew we are going out tonight? I didn't inform anyone in royal security team nor Enrique about it.

Let it be Alex it's not the time to think about it. I became my Lycan Aleric and started attacking them. Henry and Kat both are fighting them as well.

They are too many and we are just 3. Even with my vampire speed I could only fight a few in one go.

Henry was taken by 4 wolves and Kat is still fighting. I jumped on those wolves and threw them away from Henry.

“I'm fine king, Katherine needs help. She is getting cornered” Henry said and I felt good because as her mate he should be responsible enough for her

I lunged on those creatures who cornered my sister but one of them bite on my neck. I howled in pain as Aleric felt something getting in our body which isn't good for us.

I threw that creature away but it made my neck bleed. It's stinging more than it should and I'm suddenly feeling dizzy as well.

“You're bleeding Alex.” Katherine said with concern and Henry also came by my side

Those who came to attack us started leaving suddenly as if they got what they came for here.

“King your injury is turning green. Someone gave you Wolf's bane mixed with silver. We need to take you back to pack hospital.” Henry's voice turned blurry for me as I started loosing consciousness

Before passing out the only thing which was roaming inside my head was will I never meet my mate? Will I never get love from her?
