The room fell silent, Reese screamed sobbed cries of anger and sadness. She carefully pushed the heavily weighted man from on top of her, climbing her way to fresh air. Her thoughts were soaring, wondering if anything happened to her sister. Memories of their mother flooded Reese's mind, encouraging her to be brave.
Reese then carefully walked down the stairs, peering through the door to help Jasmine. Reese quickly searched, passing through the cells of various girls crying for aid. Reese hung her head low, anxious to not be distracted by the young girls surrounding her. Speeding her pace, a sharp pull of her collar forced her back, taking all the breath out of her.
“No.” Allen whispered calmly in her ear.
Choking, slowly regaining her breath. “Where is she?”
Allen tightened his grip around Reese's collar. “She's been sold.” Slamming Reese's body against the cement floor.
Reese's vision became blurry as her head hit the ground, though she could still see her father's silhouette cowering over her. Sharp chills pierced through her body, when a question erupted her mind.
“Why? Why your own daughters.”
“Because I'm God.” Allen quickly responded as Reese fell into unconsciousness.
