The Creator
Before the beginning of all things, there was a darkness so absolute that nothing could be seen within it.
There was no light to break its stillness, no sound to disturb its silence and no horizon to separate one point from another.
Nothing moved, nothing breathed and nothing existed that could give the emptiness a name.
And yet, within that immeasurable darkness, a presence stood, a creator called “God Almighty”.
He stood upon a dark surface that stretched beyond what any eye could have witnessed, had an eye existed to behold it. Above Him, darkness extended without end. Around Him silence remained untouched.
There was no path behind Him, no destination before Him, and no companion beside Him.
He was all alone, but there was nothing uncertain about His presence. He did not wander through the darkness in search of something, he did not raise his hands to protect himself from an unseen danger. He stood with a stillness that carried an authority beyond anything the emptiness could challenge. His appearance held a majesty that required no witness. His presence needed no introduction and his existence depended upon nothing around him.
He was simply there, unmoved by the endless darkness, he lifted his face slightly, as though the silence before him held no mystery that could escape his understanding, for a time he said nothing.
There was no measure by which that silence could be counted. No clock marked its passing, and no created mind existed to wonder how long He had remained there.
Then, slowly, God Almighty raised his head. His expression remained calm.
There was no fear in his eyes, no confusion upon his face, and no sign that the emptiness surrounding him had placed any limit upon his authority, he looked into the darkness and for the first time, he spoke.
His voice emerged into the silence with a certainty that required no answer. It was neither a cry for attention nor a question directed toward an unseen listener. It was the voice of one who needed no permission to exist.
The darkness offered no reply, nothing answered him, yet he did not appear disappointed by the silence.
He remained standing, His gaze fixed upon the immeasurable emptiness before him.
There was something about his stillness that made the moment feel far greater than the silence itself, as though the importance of his presence could not be measured by anything that existed around him.
He spoke again, revealing more of himself. “I am the Creator, the Lord, the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, the I am that I am,the Finisher of all, the power God Almighty”. He said.
His words carried the weight of his authority, but there was no one to challenge it. His voice filled the silence, yet there was no other voice to answer.
For the first time in the story, the Creator had made himself known through his own words and still, the darkness remained.
He lowered His gaze for a brief moment, then looked forward once more, nothing had changed around him.
The same emptiness remained. The same silence continued. The same darkness stretched beyond his sight. But God Almighty had spoken, and the silence that followed seemed to hold a significance that had not been there before.
He stood alone, unhurried and unmoved.Whatever lay beyond that moment remained unrevealed.
For now, there was only the Creator and the darkness that surrounded Him.
