I never knew my life was about change that night. The people who gave me everything gets taken from me.

Grace and Matt drive to Madisons house to pick up Nixie

Madison:*opens the door to let them in* shes on the couch

Grace:*walks over and sits beside Nixie* hey Girlie. You okay??

Nixie:*shakes her head* I’m scared Mama..

Matt: Scared of what baby? *sits in front of them*

Nixie:*shakes her head* I just want to go home..

Grace:*sighs* okay lets go

Matt:*picks Nixie up* I’ll take her to the car *walks outside with her*

Grace:*walks to the door* again.. I’m sorry Shes been having some rough times lately

Madison:*shakes head* don’t apologize. *smiles* I would want someone to do the same if it were Freya

Grace:*smiles in relief* y’all have a good night *walks to the car* you ready blueberry??

Nixie:*nods and yawns*

Matt:*drives* what do you say about pancakes or waffles for breakfast?

Nixie:*giggles* waffles!

Grace:*smiles and looks at her* Waffles?

Nixie:*smiles wide* with Blueberries!!

Matt:*gets to a bridge*

Grace: Blueberries? Of course we can’t forget the berries! *turns back to face the front* Matt Look out!!!!

Something runs out onto the bridge and stands there

Matt:*swerves and tries to stop the car but it’s too late the car goes over the side of the bridge*

The car goes into the water

Grace:*unconscious from hitting her head*

Matt:*trying to undo his seatbelt* Nixie!? Grace!?

Nixie:*scared* Daddy I can’t move!

Matt: It’s going to be okay Baby!

The car fully submerges in the water and the car fills up

Matt:*still trying to break the window*

A stranger dives into the water and goes to Matts door

Matt:*shakes head and points to the back seat*

Stranger:*glances into the back and see Nixie and looks back at Matt*

Matt:*signals him to get Nixie out first*

Stranger:*nods and breaks open the back door and pulls Nixie to safety*

By the time the stranger went back into the water for Matt and Grace it was already too late.

A few weeks pass and it’s the funeral of Nixie’s parents.

Nixie:*crying*

Madison:*consoling Nixie and Freya* Nix you’re gonna stay with Me and Freya for a while.

A few years go by and it is now Nixie and Freya’s 18th Birthday

Freya:*spins* what about this one?

Nixie:*smiles* green is definitely your color

Freya: you really think??

Nixie:*nods* matches your eyes *smiles*

Freya:*takes it off* so what are you going to wear?

Nixie:*shrugs* I don’t know yet. I haven’t decided

Freya:*smiles and Gasps* I know just the thing!! *runs to her closet and pulls out this beautiful red and black dress*

Nixie:*I seen the dress and my eyes are amazed to the way it looks. Heart shaped neckline with laced spaghetti straps. It’s almost princess like* Oh wow! It’s beautiful Frey!

Freya:*smiles and hands it to her* I knew you would like it!

Madison:*knocks on their bedroom door* y’all ready??

Freya: Be right down mama *smiles* come on

Nixie and Freya go downstairs and eat breakfast

Madison:*pours orange juice* so what’s the plan for today girls??

Freya:*sighs* I don’t know I didn’t really think about what we could do

Nixie:*eating Pancakes* me neither

Madison:*pulls out a notebook* I did! *laughs*

Freya:*laughs* Yay!!

Nixie:*smiles*

Madison: I made us a reservation at the spa after school along with our hair and nails

Freya: You are the best *squeals and hugs her*

Nixie: You’re awesome Ms. M *hugs them*

Madison:*hugs them back* are you girls ready??

They both nod and head to the car.

Madison: So Did you girls pick out what you are going to wear tonight?

Freya:*nods* yes ma’am

Nixie:*staring out the window* woah..

Madison: What?

Freya:*turns her head* what is it?

Nixie:*sighs* i thought i seen something

By that time they pull up at the school

Madison:*rolls down the passenger window* now remember I do have to go take care of some things during the day so I’ll pick you girls up at 3-3:30

Freya: Okay mama

Nixie:*nods and waves* bye Ms M

They head into the school

Nixie:*opens her locker* so who are you gonna ask?

Freya:*grabs her binder out of her locker and closes it* I don’t know yet..*sighs and looks toward the popular side of the hallway* I want her.. but I don’t think she wants me back

Nixie:*looks where she is looking* Of course you would want the baddest b***h in this school *smiles and closes her locker* Maybe ask her before it’s too late

Freya:*shakes head* Nah..*glances and sees him* woah who is that?

Nixie:*looks to where she is looking* I don’t know maybe he’s new *shrugs*

Freya:*smiles* new or not he is eyeballing you

Nixie:*sighs* Frey you know I’m not interested in dating anyone right now..*goes to walk towards class*

Freya:*frowns* I know I just don’t want you to be alone

Nixie:*smiles* I’m not alone I have my favorite person in the world *puts arms around her*

Mysterious man:*still watching her*

Nixie:*glances up and sees him*

There’s something about him..like I feel like I know him but thats impossible. Freya is right though I do need to get out there and date and he would be perfect but I can’t..I’m not ready and I’m not sure I will ever be.

The day goes by and it’s time to go home

Freya:*trying to call her mom* god where is she?

Nixie: Maybe she forgot. *worried*

Freya: This isn’t like her though.. you know how she is. She doesn’t even forget the dogs birthday

Nixie:*nods* try again

Freya:*calls her mom* come on pick up..

Madison’s Voicemail: this is Madison Sorry you couldn’t reach me but leave a message and I’ll get back to you. *beep*

Freya:*getting worried* I’m gonna call my aunt

Nixie:*nods*

Freya:*calls her aunt*

Aunt Dalihia:*answers* Hello?

Freya:*sighs in relief* Hey Aunt Dali

Aunt Dalihia: Hey sweetie you okay?

Freya: Have you heard from Mama?

Aunt Dalihia: I’m afraid not honey whats going on?

Freya: I tried calling her a few times but no answer

Aunt Dalihia: well stay calm get to the house and try again I’m sure her phone just died or something.

Freya:*sighs* yes ma’am I’m sure you are right. Bye *hangs up* Aunt Dali thinks we should head to the house

Nixie: How? Its 5 miles away

Freya:*shrugs* I’m not sure

Mysterious man:*walks up to them* hello

Nixie:*frightened a bit and jumps* crap!

Freya:*smuggles a laugh* hello

Mysterious man: My Name is Leo.

Freya:*holds out hand* Freya and this is Nixie

Leo:*shakes her hand* I couldn’t help but over hear do you girls need a ride??

Freya:*looks at Nixie*

Nixie:*looks at Freya*

Leo: its just me and my little sister *points to the girl Freya likes* Hope

Freya: We could use it.

Nixie:*mumbles* Freya..

Freya: Nix we have to get home what if Mamas hurt or worse *runs to his car with Leo* Nixie come on!

Nixie:*grunts and runs to the car*

I don’t understand it yet but there is so much about him that makes him feel familiar. It’s like I’ve seen him before but I can’t think of it. None of that matters right now because we need to get home to Madison. Thats all that matters right now.
