Be normal

When you're young, there is just one goal and it is to be normal. If that task seems to be impossible, then the plan B would be to at least blend in with the crowd. To be honest, that is a hard task to do.

I am sitting at the middle of the second to the last rown of the classroom. I wanted to sit at the corner but my classmates already claimed dibs on those sits. And I didn't want to make a fuss about it since I really wanted to be at peace. So, I opted to sit and wait for the adviser to come.

Before the teacher come, I should tell you that our school system has a block sectioning system. And in that section, we are further group as teammates which consists mostly by 5 people choosen randomly. That grouping shuffles every month though, so not really much of a bad thing.

The adviser came, she started with her introductions and our introductions. I may have appeared that I was waiting silently for my own introduction when in fact I was shaking inside.

'Don't say anything stupid. Rehearse your line. What was your name again? F, you forgot your name. What was your name? What was your name?'

I was more than panicking, anxiety running through my veins. My heart was pumping more than what was deemed normal. It actually felt like I was running around in circles.

'What was I going to say? I like talking? No, I don't talk. I like staring? I like to be a creep? I hate introductions? They're all watching me now. What was my name again? Damn, memorise your line. Oh no, I'm up next. No, no, no. Don't stutter. Don't you dare stutter. I hate this. I think I'm going to vomit. Brain, help me!!! I'm next!!!'

So I stand up, and I smiled.

'They know. I hate this. I really hate this.'

"Hello my name is Madison Abigail Dela Peña. In my spare time I like to write."

'Okay, that's all over. You didn't seemed stupid. That was good, but it could have been better. But who cares right? I mean you care. I think the teacher seemed unimpress. Should I have been more impressive? F!'
