“Harder! Harder!”

I heard the sharp voice of Victoria say with moans.

“You're such a sweetheart baby!”

That voice! Immediately, I froze in my tracks and my heart began to pound like it was going to blow up any minute.

“Please don't stop, Lawrence."

When I heard my boyfriend's name on the lips of Tatiana, that was all it needed for my rage to get to its peak.

Lawrence and Tatiana? I shook my head. This is definitely not what I was thinking. It must be all my imagination. There's no way such a thing is happening.

I tried to take further steps, but even my legs felt like they had frozen to a spot. I could hardly take a step forward. I forced my feet off the ground and at the same time.

On reaching the door, my heart began to pound loudly in my chest. I felt like my world had just collapsed. I had raced my wolf for two hours, and was feeling better. But due to the situation at hand, my heart began to pound rapidly in my chest. Making it difficult for me to breathe.

But then, I can't continue like this. I need to face my fear and both sinners. Taking a deep breath, I marched the door open and walked in and to my greatest shock, I found Tatiana on all fours while Lawrence was behind her, hitting her with all of his might and sweat dripping from his body like he had been working in a gold mine.

When they heard the sound from the door, both paused and took their gazes towards me. Seeing me in the room, they both went wide in shock.

I couldn't even scream out, but rather stood dead in my tracks, watching them both.

“Argh !!” I screamed out as I rushed towards the bed, where Tatiana was still very seated on my boyfriend. They both turned towards me in absolute shock.

“I'm going to kill you, b***h!” I grabbed her by the hair and pulled her down from Lawrence. In anger, I began to hit her on the face and pulled her hair angrily in anger.

While I was doing this, Lawrence suddenly rushed over to me and pulled me away from Tatiana so forcefully that I fell on the bed.

“Stop it, Veronica!”

Lawrence yelled at me at the top of his voice. I can't believe what just happened.

“Tatiana, are you okay?”

I opened my eyes wide, watching my boyfriend pull Tatiana up from the floor. She seemed to be sobbing and rested her head on his chest. When I saw this action, I quickly pulled myself away from the bed I was lying on.

“Lawrence!” I called out to him, and he took his gaze over to mine.

I had expected to see that meek side of him. I had expected him to beg for forgiveness for what he did, but he rather glared at me. I'm not used to seeing him this way. What is this expression?

“What do you think you're doing? How could you do this to me?” I asked, tears threatening to fall out of my eyes.

“I'm sorry, Veronica, but I can't take it anymore. Tatiana is the one I love. She had always been the one I loved.”

When he said the words, looking in my eyes, I felt like I had been into a pack of ice blocks.

I shook my head while staring at him. The tears I had been trying to hold back fell from my eyes.

“Do you have any idea she's my father's wife now?”

He swallowed hard and looked down at Tatiana.

“You have no idea just how terrible I feel knowing she's married to your dad. You have no idea how it broke my heart that she'll never be mine.”

“What are you saying? What the hell are you saying, Lawrence!”

“Stop it, Veronica. You always called me a gold digger because of your dad. Have you any idea that you're the reason I had no option but to make your dad? You said I seduced him, but in reality he was the one who came for me because he loved me!”

I let out a shocked gasp. I can't believe the words they are spewing from their lips.

“So, are you both saying that you've been fooling me all those years? I thought I had friends.”

“Wake up from your daydream, Veronica. Lawrence was literally in a relationship when you came into the picture.”

“What the f**k are you talking about? When I asked you about your relationship with him, you literally told me that you were just friends! How would I have known you were both in a relationship and fooling me!”

“No one actually fooled you. I saw clearly in your eyes that day that you liked Lawrence. We had only just started dating for a week. But, of course, you didn't expect me to tell you that he was my boyfriend. How can I tell the daughter of the Alpha of the Nightshade pack that I was actually dating a guy she was in love with?”

“What? Are you actually saying that the reason you didn't tell me was just so you can leach off me?”

“If not that, what else could have been the reason that I remained friends with you? You knew my story, and having you as my friend got me a lot of respect. No one in his right mind would want to lose that spot.”

"This is the reason why I told you to stop what we were doing, Tatiana. Have you any idea how hard it is to pretend to be in love with her?"

“But you know my situation, and you promised to help me get the respect I so wanted.”

They spoke to each other lovingly, not minding the fact that I was actually in front of them. Seeing them being so loving and mushy with one another made the hair on my entire body stand erect.

“Stop this madness at once!” I screamed out at the top of my voice and they both instantly took their gazes towards me.

“What did you both take me for, huh? Right in my very presence, you dared to display your affection? Have you no fear at all?!” I asked with so much anger in me.

“And what do you think you can do, huh?” Tatiana asked, walking until me with her hands folded on her chest.

“You shameless tramp!” I slapped her hard across the face.

“I will make you both regret the betrayal you gave me today.”

Tatiana placed her hand on her jaw but glared at me.

“And what do you intend to do, huh? Tell your father about it?”

“And you think I can't?”

“Well, be my guest!"
