‘Harry, while I’m talking to Holden, I want you to search his apartment. Take Nigel with you, and send Wayne down here. He knows more about this case than anyone else.’
‘Okay, Boss. What are we going to do about the murder now Holden’s out of the picture?’
‘Get Lisa to start on the recordings from Traffic,’ said Carl. ‘We’ll regroup when you get back from your search.’
While Carl waited in the interview room down the corridor from the holding cells, he read Charlie Head’s notes on the accident on Port Road. It appeared the elderly driver of the other vehicle had pulled out in front of the truck Holden had been driving.
