Chapter Thirty-Three DC Paterson had been a detective for more than thirty years. People had lied to him, confessed to him, and tried their best to confuse him. He knew Rosie Munro wasn’t telling him the truth about the night her boyfriend had helped Ian Holden steal a BMW from East Park. All he had to do was get her to admit it. He’d done his research. He’d asked a couple of her girlfriends what they’d been up to that night, and they’d told him about a night spent with Rosie at the Merlin, and how they’d been asked to leave at three in the morning because Rosie had started a fight.
