Carl sat on the edge of DC Paterson’s desk. ‘Dr Jonas has identified the body from Lewis’ dental records,’ said Carl.
‘I guess that confirms he was receiving the vehicles from Holden and his mates,’ said DC Paterson.
‘Be nice to know who Lewis was selling the parts to,’ said Carl. ‘Are you having any luck with the hard drive Dean bought back from the Lewis’ place?’
‘Nigel’s playing with it,’ said DC Paterson. ‘He thinks Lewis must have stored his inventory records in the cloud. There’s nothing on his hard drive that looks like an inventory database or list of customers, but he appears to have several cloud accounts, which we can’t get into.’
‘I guess his business records could have been stored in the shed that went up in flames,’ said Carl.
