Chapter Forty Trent picked up the newspaper and scanned the story on the front page through the plastic wrapping. There was a picture of him sitting on the bus. His appearance was described as unkempt. He scratched his armpit. He’d hadn’t thought about there being a security camera on the bus. He’d only wanted to get out of the area as quickly as he could when he’d discovered someone had taken his bike, and catching the bus had made sense at the time.
