“Ms. Lori Weidemann?” The insurance adjuster left a message on Lori's answering machine. “It's about your policy claim. We have good news.”
She called them back.
“Robyn! They've done it. The insurance came through at last. There's money now to build again or maybe travel. Perhaps I'll go to England next year. I've always wanted to see London. Now Robyn, we can afford to relocate; we might go to the countryside where homes are cheaper. What do you think about that?”
“I think we've done it,” Robyn said. “I think the bad stuff is over. And what about Drake? Will we see him again?”
“I think so. I think he's at peace, but I need him one more time. Then I'll let him rest.”
