CHAPTER II : Fly

Somebody told me

you're unhappy,

But it doesn't show~

What the fudge!

I rolled and rolled on my bed while thinking of what happened to the hotel restaurant a few hours ago.

Goshhh. It's 3:00 am already. I'm about to get some water when I heard some noise on the balcony.

"Hello? May tao ba diyan? Psh. Syempre 'dika sasagot. Pulis ako, kung ako sa'yo, umalis kana" nagkunwari din akong may hawak na b***l para kung maabutan ko s'ya ay matakot s'ya at hindi na bumalik. Wait. Eh pa'no naman makakarating dito sa balcony ang mga kriminal? Antaas kaya nito. Pero sabagay, mautak mga kriminal. Nakarinig ako ng yapak papalayo at malakas na pagspaspas ng naglalakihang pakpak .

I immediately opened the door to the balcony and for the second time, I've seen the shadow of an angel-like creature appearing on the moon.

"What was that? Gosh! Kalerki ka ghourl ha" I've said and go downstairs.

I went near the refrigerator and opened it. I get the pitcher with cold water and I poured the water on a glass on the table.

*You have a message!

I strangely looked at my phone like hey who's this?

"Ah unregistered. Psh nevermind" I said as I saw the number. I turned my phone off and decided to go upstairs and just sleep.

When I reached my bedroom , I immediately went on my bed and jumped to sleep.

But yeah. I still can't sleep . Fudge! Can I just forget?! I can't control my feelings. I can't control what my mind think! If only I can forget Bush and lived like I don't even know him. How I wished to.

I sat on my bed and started thinking about him again. Is there any wrong on me? Is there any problem on being 'anak-araw'? I have a rare condition called albinism ,where in I have a very white skin and also, a very white hair like Legolas have in the movie "Lord of the rings" actually much whiter. My right eye was blue and the left one was hazel brown.

"Fudgeeeee! How to forget?!"

*You have a message!

"Tss. Who's this?" I muttered and picked up my phone to check who sent me a message.

"Wish for it, lady" I read.

Hi, Moon! Don't panic, it's just me.

This is the right time to say that... JK! I know you have a problem. A problem about that s**t. Don't worry everything will be alright.

"The heck? Stalker ka ghourl?" I said while reading those message that he/she sent me a while ago.

*Answer the call!

My phone keeps on ringing like that. 'Answer the call!"

Unregistered number

Sino ba 'to? I immediately blocked that number because I don't feel safe.

"Why did you do that, my lady?" the voice said. Fudge!

"Who are you? Where are you? Why are you here?" I jumped out of my bed and decided to look at the balcony.

"Great! You found out that I'm here!" the man with black wings said and grabbed me so fast. Gosh! I felt that we aren't stepping on something, I closed my eyes and I keep on saying , 'let go of me!'

"Really Ms. Viollean? You want me to let go of you?"

"Let go of me!"

"As you wish" I felt that he let go of me already. Psh. Gagawin din naman pala eh. Everything went fine until I remembered I can't fly. -,-

"Aaaaah! Help me!" I closed my eyes. Fudgeeeeeeee! In just a few seconds from now,I know I will die. Fudgeeeeeeee. I started counting. 10, gosh! 9, can somebody help me?

"Aaaaah if only I had wings."

Wait what?! H-how? I opened my eyes and I saw my self flying. I looked at my back and saw two piece of white wings. W-what? Is this a joke? Oh gosh!

"You're flying, my lady. C'mon, let's go to the moon" Hschi said. The black winged creature. Told yah' I can't forget. I saw him when Jeng took me home. Yeah. The guy who bumped on Jeng's car---or should I say, ako ang May kasalanan. Ehe.

"B-but I can't fly" as I've said those words , I started to fall.

"Aaaaah!" I shouted.

"Aaaaahlabyu Lunette" the fudge? Babanat nalang yung pinaka korni pa eh no?

"S-sino ka ba talaga, Hschi?" I asked him as I fell on his arms.

"You'll find out as soon as we reach our destination"

"D-destination? B-but how? And where is that 'destination'? "

"Hey, ba't ba andami mong tanong HAHA and please, don't look at me like that, baka mahulog nanaman ako"

"Nanaman? What do you mean, e ngayon lang tayo nagkita?"

"Ah-ah wala 'yun. Anyway, p-pahinga muna tayo, medyo napagod kasi ako, pwede ba 'yun?" he can't look at me while saying those words.

We landed as if we are on a telenovela. We landed with his wings protecting my body. I've caught him looking at me while landing and I smiled at him. Hindi ko na alam. But, I-I feel so comfortable with him but at the same time, the way he's smiling make me feel that someone's stabbing me.

"Hschi, right?"

"Y-yes, milady" he smiled so wide as his name came out from my mouth.

"Do you really know me?" I asked him seriously. He disappointedly looked at me.

"Moon, can't you remember me?" I tried to look every angle of his face but--- I can't remember him.

"S-sorry pero as far as I know, I can't forget. It's so impossible na kilala kita kasi kung kilala kita, n'ong una palang e nakilala na kita. I have a very rare condition where every lil' thing on my life will remain unforgettable for me, kahit anong gawin ko" I explained and a deep sigh went out of him.

"S-sorry" I muttered.

"You don't have to be sorry, Senyorita Violaen"

"Hey, don't call me Senyorita HAHA 'di naman ako tamad eh"

"Fudge HAHA! " when he realized he laughed so hard, he suddenly became serious.

"Ahm.. Senyorita Violaen, it's my duty to take you to Macabre" huh?

"Macabre? What was that--or should I say where was that?"

"Seriously Lunette hindi mo alam? " I gave him a 'no no look'

"I-I mean, Senyorita Violaen, iyon po ang inyong tahanan"

"Tahanan? Sa pagkakaalam ko, this is my home. " I said seriously.

"Halikana--halikana po, Senyorita" he immediately hold my waist and he started to fly with his wings. I held on to his shoulders as we started to fly away from the ground.

"Wait, where were my wings?" I've asked him. He just looked at me and smiled.

"Every question that you have will be answered when we reached Macabre"

"Okay"

"Malayo pa ba tayo, Hschi?"

"Malapit-lapit na but then on, you have to wait. Hindi tayo agad na makapapasok sa loob. We have to pass the challenges" kumururot ang kilay ko nang marinig ang sinabi n'ya.

"Ch-challenges? Y-you mean madami?" tumango s'ya at muling ibinaling ang tingin sa nililiparan namin.

"You have to be ready, Lun--Senyorita Violaen"

"And?"

"May pupuntahan tayo to make yourself ready, pati narin ako since... 10 years na ako sa mundo ng mga tao, gaya mo" he said with a genuine smile.

"Wait what? 10 years palang ako dito--I mean sa mundo ng mga tao?" I curiously asked.

"Yes. Sinundan kita dito n'ong umalis ka sa mundo natin"

"S-so may sarili tayong mundo?" I asked with excitement.

"Nandito na tayo--woaaaaaaaaah!" nagpagewang-gewang kami na animo'y eroplanong nawalan ng control.

"Hschi! Babagsak tayoooo!" I shouted and we landed on garden. An old lady came and greeted us.

"Aba, nandito na pala kayo, hijo, s'ya na ba si Senyorita Violaen?" Hschi and I fixed ourself and tried to stand up even though it really hurts(ang magmahal ng ganito, kung sino pang pinili--jok)

"Margulya" we shook our hands.

"Lunette po"

"Sige, maiwan ko muna kayo at ako'y maghahanda muna" she said and went on a very big mansion.

"Sino s'ya ,Hschi?" sabay nguso at itinuro si Lola Mergulya.

"Oh, she was the best when it comes to mind reading and of course panghuhula. "

"Woaaaah! Can know more about her? I find her so interesting" ngumiti s'ya sa'kin at para akong batang naghihintay na ikwento sa akin si Cinderella.

"Mergulya, was 500 years old" nanlaki ang mga mata ko at parang hindi makapaniwala.

"Don't try to spell her name when you can't spell it right. Magagalit s'ya and you'll suffer"

"Grabe naman 'yon, Hschi"

"Sinong grabe?" I turned around slowly and I saw Lola Mergulya standing.

"M E R G E U L E Y Z A" she spelled.

"Misspelled it and you'll get what you deserve" she said.

"E-ehe" I muttered and smiled bitterly. Grabe kalerki ka madam!

"Mas kalerki ka, Senyorita Violaen" amp nakakabasa pala s'ya ng isip [/facepalm

"Osya,hali na kayo sa loob, hijo at Senyorita Violaen" dagdag pa n'ya at biglang nawala.

"Halikana?" Hschi asked.

"H'wag mong sabihing maglalaho din tayo?" naguguluhan kong tanong ngunit nginitian niya lang ako.

"Try to wish for it, Senyorita"

"W-wish? As in 'I wish to disappear'?"

BOOM!

"Ayan, nandito na tayo" ngiting-ngiting sabi ni Hschi.

"W-wait, pa'no natin nagawa 'yun?"

"Ikaw ang gumawa n'on, Lunette" seryosong sabi ni Madam, ugh! Ayokong sabihin ang name n'ya huhu baka mamali ako. Ngumiti s'ya na animo'y narinig n'ya ako.

"Hmm, ihahanda ko na kayo para sa muli n'yong pagbabalik sa ating tahan--- andito na siya"

*Boogsh!

"Hali na kayo" malumanay na sabi ni Madam.

"S-saan po?" tanong ko.

"Hawakan n'yo ako" ay wow. Ivictus yata ghourl. Mygoshkasey, s'ya ba si Mata?

"Hindi, Senyorita pero andito na tayo"

E-eh? Ambilis

"Nasaan po tayo? At bakit po tayo umalis doon? Ano po 'yung bumagsak kanina?" sunod-sunod kong tanong.

"Sino. Sino ang tanong hija."

S-sino?

Hindi ko sinabi nang malakas para basahin n'ya nalang ehe.

"Sabagay, ayos lang na basahin ko nalang, Senyorita. S'ya si Uttyion."

"Si Uttyion, Madam?!" Hschi became so worried as if his worst nightmare has came.

"Tama ka,hija." Wait what?!

"Tama. Si Uttyion ang pinakamadilim na bagay o nilalang na ayaw makasagupang muli ni Hschi"

"P-pero bakit po?"

"Lune--or should I say, Se-senyorita, s'ya ang kapat-tid niyo" nauutal na sabi ni Hschi. E kapatid ko naman pala. Bakit umalis kami?

"Hija, kapatid mo s'ya sa Ina ngunit hindi sa ama. S'ya ang kapatid mo kay Senyora Mayamana"

"M-mayamana? 'sya po ang nanay ko?"

"Oo, Senyorita" K-kaya pala lagi s'yang nasa panaginip ko.

"Anak, wake up . Can you still remember me? I missed you so much! Pleaseeee come home now, my dearest Lunette"

"Can I ask one more question, Madam? Pleaseeee" I beg.

"Of course, and I know you'll ask about who is the father of Uttyion." I just nodded while listening.

"Her father was Escureettore, the King of Alvoirra, the land of black winged creature, like Hschi. They can be what they want. Either to be a human, an animal or what but they can't change what their wings were." Madam looked me from head to toe.

"Hschi, go out" Hschi looked at Madam worriedly.

"Don't worry,Hschi. Uttyion wasn't here. Masyado na tayong malayo sakanya" Hschi did what Madam wants to.

"Senyorita"

"P-po?"

"Take your clothes off" -,-

"P-pero--"

"Ako pa ba ang maghuhubad saiyo, Senyorita?" she's about to touch me when I stepped backward. She laughed.

"Hey, come on, Lunette. Hindi ako bisexual at wala akong interes sa'yo. Ang akin lang, you need to wear this" she snapped and a doll appeared with a gown on her body.

"Hindi lang gown 'yan actually" she snapped again and the doll was now wearing an armor.

"Name it and you can have it"

"Even an swimsuit?"
