Violet's POV
"What?" he screamed so loud but all I heard was guilt.
Which meant yes. My heart felt funny but thanks to Silus' warning, I was able to remain calm on the surface.
"In that case, I would be requiring my own room and I will do my best to not cross paths with you," I strained a smile without breaking eye contact.
"Uhn?" His jaw hung open for a second, but he recovered soon enough and hurried to my side. "Aren't you going to ask me why? Last I remember, you had no idea there was a huge target on our backs." He said with gritted teeth.
"Doesn't matter anymore. There is no danger and I wouldn't try to leave anymore." I stood up and headed for the closet. Just 5 nights ago, I was cast out.
