Week 3 Beautiful Chaos Beginning

"You're late Ms. Ricci, is this the kind of behavior I should be expecting from my head warrior?" His words were drenched in venom as he questioned me with his signature icy glare. Not that I cared much for anything this prick had to say. "No sir I just simply lost track of time, my sincerest apologies alpha." I found myself muttering these words with the best fake smile I could muster up. With one last threatening growl the alpha sauntered away leaving me to train my warriors in peace. "Sorry I'm late everyone , today we're going to be continuing our hand to hand combat training. So stop p***y footing around and lets pair up ladies!" Everyone groaned in unison before coupling together. "Hey cookie!" The sweet husky voice of my best friend danced in my ear like a melody. "Stop calling me that Lane." I huff out in annoyance earning a chuckle from him. "okay okay, don't shoot" his hands quickly raised in surrender. "Seriously though, why are you late? Chaos Bella Ricci is never late for anything." He mocked in a matter-of-factly tone. "I was just up all night doing head warrior stuff. You know me, married to my duties. I quickly threw out a half-hearted smile wanting to change the subject before Lane became too nosy. "Well anyways, I was just curious if you were going to attend Zach's party with me tonight? "You know that's not really my thing." I responded even though that was't the complete truth. I mean there's nothing wrong with a good party, unless of course it's thrown by the alpha or his intolerable son Zach. Lane gave me his best puppy dog eyes accompanied by a whiny please to seal the deal, making a heavy sigh escape my lips. "Fine, I'll go." i said reluctantly "Are you for real!" Lane practically shouted "Why not, no harm no foul right?" Lane began to do a happy dance while showing off his heart stopping smile which caused me to giggle slightly. "Alright Carter it's time to train, let's get a move on!" I finally said in a stern voice. "You got it Ms. Ricci!" Lane flashed me one last dangerous smile before jogging over to a group of wolves to correct their forms. Three hours later and training had come to an end. Lane and I returned to mine in order to relax and eat before 6:30 rolled around and the inevitable happened. Still soon enough hours passed and it was time to get ready. "i'm gonna hop in the shower Laney, you have clean clothes in the top drawer of my dresser." "Thanks Chaos you're the best! Make sure to be ready in an hour!" Lane hollered as he swiftly ran upstairs to my bedroom. "Welp, better get this over with." I trudged upstairs to my master bathroom and turned the water as hot as I could get it before stepping in, letting the steam envelop the room. The water running from my hair to my body soothed me, like it could erase all my pains and problems with it's simple touch though that couldn't be further from the truth. Once i finished showering and being lost in my thoughts I quickly got out and wrapped a towel around me. I opened the bathroom door and scurried to my closet, glancing around to make sure Lane had gone. After rummaging through my never ending supply of clothes I had finally found something that I wanted to wear. I decided on a white off the shoulder lace body con dress that stopped mid thigh, paired with my favorite white stiletto heeled pumps. I hastily slicked my hair into an upright ponytail and accessorized with a plain gold necklace and earrings to match. "I guess I'm as ready as I'll ever be." I gave myself one last look in the mirror before descending downstairs to my already waiting best friend. LANE'S POV It's been almost an hour when I hear Chaos's feet shuffling down the stairs. I glance up from my phone to be met with the most stunning pair of eyes.. Chaos slowly walked down the stairs as I took every detail of her in. Her wavy blue-black hair was done in a neat ponytail that cascaded down her back. The dress she wore hugged her curvaceous body in all of the right places. All of her delicate feature stuck out like a rainbow in a sea of black. Chaos Belle Ricci is by far the most beautiful she wolf I've ever heard of or seen, hands down. The only word my tied tongue could come up with was.. "wow" CHAOS"S POV "I hope that's a good thing?" i asked a meek smile plastered on my face. "You don't need me to tell you how breathtaking you are cookie." Lane blurted out in awe. "You're right! that doesn't mean I still don't enjoy hearing it." I replied with a playful smirk causing Lane to shake his head and chuckle. "Moment officially ruined." Lane deadpanned with his best serious face before we both erupted into a fit of laughter. "We should get going before i change my mind." before I could react Lane was ushering me out of the door following just a step behind me. Since the pack house was only about fifteen minutes away by foot we decided to walk and enjoy the beautiful summer night. We arrived at the pack house sooner rather than later to my dismay, which meant it was definitely too late to change my mind now. I caught Lane's arm just a he was reaching for the pack house doors. "You remember the rules right lane?" Lane let out an exasperated sigh before starting to list off the rules. "No public conversations , if someone ask about you I dot know anything as we're just work colleagues, and of course to have fun at anyone's expense except yours right?" The words came out so sickly sweet but I could still feel the spite that lie underneath them. "Got it, see ya later!" I could hear the anger, hurt and disappointment in his voice. "Lane wait!" but the door closed just as quickly behind him as it had opened . " Fuck! this is gonna be a long night." The ball room now transformed into a mini club, reeked of alcohol and arousal. I scanned my eyes across the room observing the many wolves grinding and practically dry f*****g each other on the dance floor. Some just stood idly by while drinking or holding a conversation , just enjoying the energy they feel around them. My eyes finally drift to two girls in the back of the ball room swapping spit with none other than Zach himself. Even though I feel pure disgust, I only barely managed to pull my eyes away from the scene unfolding in front of me. Zach looked in my direction as if he already knew that I stood there watching. He sent a very unsubtle wink my way and smirked coyly as if I would be allured by him. It was near impossible to hide the sneer that threatened to take place of my soft blank expression. *He may be a total t**t waffle but you can't deny that he is FINE!* I couldn't help but roll my eyes at my wolf's comment. "Well how nice of you to make an appearance after not hearing from you all day Syla;" *Whatever, it's not my fault your day was too boring for me to bother with!* she snapped "Calm sown Syl, I was just joking." but my reply was met with silence. I took a deep breathe and headed to the bar counter for a much needed drink. Syla has seemed so distant and on edge all week and I can't figure out why for the life of me. I just wish she would share what ever is burdening her so that we can carry it together. Once i finally made it to the bar I took a seat on one of the plush leather bar stools. "three shots of vodka Daniel." The bartenders eyes widened, more than likely from the shock of seeing me at one of Zach's parties. "Here you go gorgeous'" Daniel passed three neatly poured vodka shots across the bar. "So what brings the infamous Chaos here tonight?" I smirk at his words trying to stifle my slowly growing laughter. "Infamous is a bit much, no?" i chuckle "Not from what I hear pretty lady. I'm just as shocked to see you hear as I am to learn that you know my name." "Just needed to get out for a while, and don't be too surprised. I know everyone even when they don't know me, I'm always watching Danny boy'" I throw Daniel a playful wink as he smiles tenderly at me before leaving to attend to others thirsty wolves. "He has a point, I myself am wondering the same thing. Did you decide to come because you are ready to stop denying your desire for me?" Every possible positive thing I was feeling a moment prior dissipated the second i realized who the intoxicated words came from. "Go back to your bimbos Zachary." I replied stalely without glancing to the space he now occupied beside me. "Hey, it's my birthday!'" he more sprayed rather than actually said. "Happy birthday, now buh-bye pretty boy." I rapidly downed my shots before standing abruptly to excuse myself from the repulsive wolf that was hell bent on invading my personal space. Just as i put one foot forward to take my leave Zach latched his hand onto my arm harshly. "Let me go Zach, you don't want to cause a scene at your own party do you?" "I wasn't done talking to you!" he growled in a threatening manner *I take back what I said before, can't we just tear him limb from limb?* Syla was stirring in my mind wanting nothing more but to surface and rip his throat out with her bare teeth. "We can't do that Syl and you know it, that's still the alpha's son'" She gave me a low irate grumble before my mind once again fell silent. "You may not have been done talking to me Zachary, but I cannot say the same. I pried his sweaty hand off of my forearm as his darkened eyes dug into me like he was envisioning my death. He released one last bellowing growl that caused the whole party to fall silent and look in our direction before he stormed outside. Everyone stayed frozen for a moment just eyeing me in the most obvious way. Looks of annoyance, pity and plain hatred were being thrown at me like daggers. Luckily for me I didn't give a flying fuckaroo about what anyone else thought. "Might as well get another shot or two at least." I turned my back to all of the prying eyes and ordered two more shots of vodka, too bad my peace would be short lived. Well well well, if it isn't the chaotic orphan." The high pitch voice rang from behind me filled with nothing but amusement. I took my last shot before turning on my heels to be face to face with the she wolf begging for a early funeral. "What the f**k do you want Emily!" I spat my words at her without the slightest hesitation or remorse. I couldn't hide the fact that I was satisfied once I seen her smug smile drop into a scowl. "You need to stay the hell away from Zach! he's my mate and future alpha of this pack, he can't be seen with the likes of you." she spoke as if she had a bad taste in her mouth, but i still found her to be nothing more than a joke. The wide spread grin that made its way to my face was involuntary, although I wouldn't have tried to resist it anyways. "Hate to burst your bubble sweetheart,..who am I kidding, I'd love too!"i replied without restraint. "Firstly he screwed you once while drunk out of his mind and your just obsessive, i wouldn't call that a relationship let alone a soul bond. Secondly on no account will I ever want that arrogant pig, not even if he was the last wolf on earth. and Lastly, He will NEVER be any alpha of mine." My words became more jarring as I spoke, and I could feel Syl trying to claw her way to the surface ready for anything. Emily's eyes clouded over black, signaling that her wolf was now in control. "You need to learn you're place orphan. You don't belong in this pack! You know it, I know it, hell even your parents knew it! Why do you think your parents were slaughtered! You and your brother are both abominations, a disgrace to the Black Shadow pack!" The whole room around me was completely still as I took notice to all eyes yet again on the scene that I'm involved in. "What did you just say!" "You heard me chaotic orphan." Emily began cackling along with some other bitchy she wolves only making my blood boil more. "Don't you dare tell lies about my family!" I growled out making the whole room vibrate under its effects. I briskly lowered my head in order to avoid everyone's gaze and regain my composure. "Don't tell me you're gonna cry?" Emily and her friends chuckle assuming that they have hurt my feelings or broken a part of me. Jokes on her I was broken so long ago. "Just accept the truth, your brother's gone and your parents are dead and it's all your fault. Their only mistake was letting a waste of space like you live." Emily boasted proudly and confidently *I won't stand for this Chaos." The angry voice of Syl bounced around my mind with great fury and impatience.* *Don't worry neither will I Syl.* "Well aren't you gonna say anything orphan!" "She may not have anything left to say, but I do." The second that bone chilling voice left my body I could feel the whole atmosphere in the room change. Feelings of confusion, curiosity and most off all fear crept through every crevice of the room. I slowly lifted my head to meet the stares of the wolves before me. I can clearly hear gasps among the wolves paired with malicious mutterings. My usual icy blue eyes now glowed a vibrant blue color unlike all the other wolves in my pack who's wolves all have eyes as black as a starless night sky. I bare my teeth as the glow in my eyes continues to grow and the fear radiates off of Emily's every fiber. I Let Syla push to the front of my mind as I gracefully retreat to the back and allow her to have control, it was about time someone had to pay for their actions. Hell it was about time i let her have a little bit of fun. SYLA'S POV "No it's my turn to play." The silence is deafening but it wouldn't remain as such for long. .
